Skincare Secret Pearl 50 mL, Brightening and Anti-Aging Complex, Corrects Dark Spots and Hyperpigmentation, Evens Skin Tone, Smoothens Fine Lines and Wrinkles

This is a review of the OLIVIA QUIDO Skincare Secret Pearl Brightening and Anti-Aging Complex. I have older, dry and sensitive skin and I am always looking for quality skin products. Saying that, I was eager to try this one out and I am happy to say it is pretty amazing. This comes well-packaged and secured. This cream comes in a really pretty white container that looks really nice on a bathroom counter. The cream is accessed via a pump. I have attached some photos so you can see what I mean. What is nice about the pump is that your fingers never have to touch the product so it stays more sanitary. You can also control how much cream comes out so that’s great. So how does it work? I have to say it really is terrific. I almost wish it wasn’t so great because it is costly and I am not sure how long this will last. It takes two pumps for me to cover my face. Because my skin is so sensitive, I tried this out on my hand the first time. I could immediately feel the difference in the smoothness of my skin. Since then, I have been using this regularly. My only critique is that this has a rather strong, floral scent, I have such sensitive skin, that I usually prefer product with no scent and in particular, I don’t like a perfume-like smell. However, I can say that this cream has not caused my skin any problems. So 4.5 stars because I am not a fan of the scent, but 5 stars on this product effectiveness. Recommended.

I find it quite interesting that this is an anti-aging product that's applied after moisturizers. The texture is a white creamy paste that applies smoothly and layers well with my other skin care products. It does take a bit of effort to blend out since it's sitting on top of moisturizers. It leaves a very soft and subtle sheen on the skin. It has a pleasant scent that's not overwhelming. I like that it leaves a soft and smooth finish on the skin and feels comfortable to wear. It's kept my skin in good shape so far, but I haven't noticed any dramatic change.

This is an interesting product. I have been using it as an all over cream and it gives instructions to apply 2 pumps to your face AFTER moisturizer AM and/or PM. I have very pale skin and a pretty involved skincare regimen. I have been using this in the mornings. It comes out as a lotion/cream like product and has a pretty strong and fairly generic night cream sort of smell (maybe fake perfumed cucumber?) that goes away after a while. I find that when I apply this product it shows a very noticeable white cast on my skin and when I rub and rub it in, it does blend a little more, but I think the benefit of this and the effect is that it melts gradually into your skin and gives a residual sort of glassy pearlescent effect over it. I think this could be characterized as a slightly all over temporary lightening cream if you use it all over since it is so glassy and pale. Maybe I am using too much of the product, but I feel it complements my skin. The pale pearl effect might a little overbearing for some. After using it for a while I do not see any major changes or irritation to my skin but I find that my skin does look nice and this does really change my appearance to make my face more shimmery while wearing it in a bright way, so this is probably worth a slightly higher price tag than some other products that only promise effects in the very long run.

I have been using this cream for a few weeks now. I apply it after I've put on my normal moisturizer, and I typically use it in the mornings instead of both AM and PM. Note that this product does have Titanium Dioxide in it, which acts as a UV filter / sunscreen. Despite this, I still layer on sunscreen afterwards if I'm planning to go outside. With regular use, I have noticed improved texture and an overall brighter complexion. For me, the first effects were noticeable within the first week, but I had been quite lax and inconsistent about my usual full-on skincare regimen during the end of winter. This is the only change that I had made to my routine, as well. My skin was very uneven, breaking out a lot, and generally looked pretty rough. Honestly, I am feeling a lot better about it now. I like the fragrance. It doesn’t smell like anything in particular, just ‘fragrance’. It's not too strong or overpowering, but I recommend avoiding this product if you're sensitive to fragrances. Overall: I’d recommend this one if it fits your budget. My skin has responded really well to it, even compared to other creams in the same price range. Avoid it if you're sensitive to fragrances.

This does that thing where it add some iridescence to your skin. Be sure to apply it lightly. I put a little on my fingers, pat my hands together to spread it out, then pat it around my face before rubbing it in. If you put it on too thick, you could come out with a white cast. I put this on over sunscreen, hoping to get a little of that shimmer. Combined with my sunscreen, this stuff caked up and I had to wash my face and reapply my products for the day. I skipped this the second time. As for the benefits it promises, I haven't noticed any, but you also apply this over moisturizer, so I'm not sure how much of it gets to my skin.

I have normal to dry skin, and this cream is absolutely perfect for me. The texture is silky and lightweight, and I love layering it over my moisturizer—it instantly adds softness and a radiant glow. The light floral scent is refreshing and calming, and the packaging feels luxurious with a precise pump that gives just the right amount every time. It does have a slight white tint, which seems to help blur dark spots, but I'm not sure yet if it's truly correcting them long-term or just masking them. Either way, it makes my skin look more even and fresh right away. I also appreciate the thoughtful ingredient list with brighteners like Niacinamide, Glutathione, and Alpha Lipoic Acid, plus hydrating and soothing agents like Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, and Panthenol. While it's a bit misleading that it's called "secret pearl" since there are no actual pearls used in the ingredients. What I think the "pearl" is referring to is the color of the cream. The color of the cream is white and looks a lot like a pearl bead when it is dispensed into my palms. When I apply it to my skin, it has a very thin consistency that spreads very nicely onto my skin. While it does leave a bit of a white cast, I think that's what gives the whitening effect. It also leaves my skin super glowy looking afterwards, and that glow really lasts! I don't think this is meant to replace your usual moisturizer, as you're supposed to apply this after using moisturizer. It's perfect for those who are looking to achieve a super glowy, iridescent, and healthy complexion! As someone who has sensitive and dry skin, I did not notice any adverse effects from using this.

This came in a very elegant box in color white and gold and there's a special paper inside to fully protect the item itself. The bottle is plastic though, but it is frosted, and kind of looks like glass. It's made in USA but sourced around the world. The complex is quite thick in texture and a little drop would rub out easily on your skin. I really like how it smells, very light and elegant, a little bit of floral scent, but smells like one of those expensive name brand cosmetics! I tried just a tiny bit on my hand for skin test and I REALLY LOVE IT! I can't wait for this to be used on my face day and night to see the wonderful results. Little drop goes a long way, I think this bottle would probably last quite a while. I think it's worth the price because there are smaller amount for even more expensive products that I've tried, and they're all good, just like this one.
