Excellent. Verry quiet. Marvellous effect. Only problem was that the stove was left at the front door upside down and it was about to rain even though we asked for items to be left in the shed if no answer.

Pretty poor I suspect this i a chinese fake. I have had three of these fires over the years, The first one caught fire but the other two were fine. The build quality of the first few was very good and the smoke/flame effect is really good. So I thought I would buy another one. I actually like the stove but the build standard is absolutely the minimum you could do. I tightend some of the screws and had an electrician check it out and he said it was OK. The Dimplex customer service was terrible last time I tried them but other companies sell the spares..... In case you are interested the thermostat failed on our first one and the stove started to melt and burn, But our smoke alarm saved the day. I thought after all these years they would of got better. I was wrong. Great too look at fr the flames but basically very dissapointed.

Beautiful fire. Incredibly pleased with it. However!!! If it goes wrong you have a massive problem. Dimplex do not repair their fires. The best they can do is send spares (free if under guarantee). I had mine insured privately I loved it so much. Only to find after a year when it did play up the repair company I was insured with were unable to deal with Dimplex fires. From what I can gather, this is the case generally. If it had not been for Amazon honouring my one year gaurentee (even though two days expired) with them I would really be in a pickle now. I have bought a replacement because I was so very pleased with it. But I am now very apprehensive as to what happens if and when it goes wrong again in the future. I guess just be aware when you are buying this.

We can't have a log fire, and have searched for a fire to give us the extra heat aswell as effect of a fire. We brought a few styles and all had faults. This fire is fabulous, it looks great, is the perfect size and easy to clean and maintain and we don't find the noise of the fire loud, especially in a busy chaotic home. We had a missing handset but amazon customer service was great and although we had a replacement sent out by the manufacturer it still doesn't work. This doesn't make much issue for us and we may try and purchase a handset at a later date. We absolutely love this Dimplex fire!

Prompt delivery. This fire is very simple to set up, and very realistic. The Optimist function is so clever and we have put scented pine cones inside as there is no risk of anything catching fire so it now smells gorgeous as it’s on. It fits beautifully in our conservatory, we bought a slate hearth for it to sit on. Was also an absolute bargain and much cheaper than anywhere else on the internet. Would highly recommend it.
