Possibly the best thing in my remodeled kitchen
I installed this on my kitchen faucet as part of a full remodel. It's the kind of thing that you install and realize a week later how much better being in your kitchen is because of it. Being forced to turn water on and off with my hands on the rest of my sinks in the house now makes me feel like I'm living in the dark ages. I would trade every infuriating, lackluster motion sensor controlled faucet in the world for ones that have a simple foot control. The operation and simplicity of this product cannot be overstated. Forget touch sinks or others you have to wave a hand in front of a sensor. This is the one you want. No special, outrageously priced faucet with 'smart' features required. I do not want Alexa in my plumbing fixtures. Yes this is certainly more expensive than many standard faucets, but combining a decent quality faucet and this product is cheaper than most any touchless name brand faucet. I'm not counting the endless number of knock-off fixtures on Amazon. This works dead simple by putting a battery powered valve inline with your hot and cold water supply going to the faucet, triggered simply by a foot switch on your toe kick. It can be easily disabled by simply bumping the switch on to start water flow and unplugging the battery pack from the controller, if needed. The valves stay open with no power applied. Battery life is expected to be about 3-4 years from 4xAA according to an exchange I had with their support. They also have an option for an AC/DC plug-in adapter if you contact them on their website if for some reason you want it wired. I've had it now for about a month and it's completely second nature. I don't even think about turning the water on and off. My foot finds the toe kick and I have water for exact time I need it without ever touching the faucet. The only drawback to this is you're going to walk up to a sink in somebody else's kitchen and kick at the bottom of the cabinet for a moment before remembering you actually have to touch something with your hands to get water. Also guests will be confused by your faucet until you explain. Most things I do in the kitchen demand a medium-hot temperature, so I leave it there 90% of the time. If I need cold water to rinse veggies or fruit, this is pretty much the only time I interact with the faucet handle. I also don't have the faucet wide open, maybe 30%, and this is plenty for nearly all tasks. Benefits include reduced water consumption, cleaner faucet and surrounding sink deck since you're rarely reaching anywhere near them with either dirty or wet hands, and let's be honest, cool factor. I have two friends who saw this and already installed them in their homes in the last month. Installation took me no more than an hour, and I was installing a new faucet as part of the job. I'm fairly handy, but anyone with some reasonable DIY skills can do this. You can tell that somebody took the time to design packaging and work through exactly what was needed to do the installation. The cleverness of the process shows true ingenuity. This is a 10/10 product. I can't speak to longevity yet, but if it died 5 years from now, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it. They offer a core charge credit and reduced cost replacement if you have a failure after 5 years. It's made in the US, and the warranty is generous and reasonable.

Great product and care after purchase
This product has been on my wife’s wish list for quite some time. It maintains sterility in your kitchen with its kick plate design to turn your water faucet on and off without touching it. The installation was straight forward and has worked very well. Had need to replace a part, due to my plumbers mistake. It was replaced without question or cost. Have had recent conversation with owner that has been nothing but satisfactory. His responses and warranty have been exceedingly good. I would encourage anyone needing a hands free activated faucet to purchase from this company.

1.5 years later, it's started to drip (fixed!)
LOVE this up until now but the device has developed a leak. We replaced the batteries. Same deal. I know it's the device because if I shut of the faucet "the old fashion way' the drip stops. So the water must be flowing through the device very slowly. Bad seal? Calcium or some kind of other build up? Unsure. I will try to report back later after I remove it and take a closer look at what's going on. follow up: Calcium build up in the valve. I pulled the valve out, soaked it with CLR spray, dug around on the inside as much as I could with a wire brush, vinegar, lots of rinsing and it works fine again. I don't think there is anything wrong with the valve -this is a fact of life with water.

Great product! (Minor installation clarification)
Just installed the A700 this evening and it works as advertised. We installed it in our kitchen because of hands free needs during cooking and cleaning. I want to point out the little things the company includes like a small magnet to help fish the wire to the opening makes a big difference and something most DIY products do not include/think about. The magnet while small (but strong) was a time saver and again, thoughtful with the consumer/installer in mind. The one little issue I ran into was when it came to step 13 (attaching the backplate to the base board), the instructions showed 4 holes to put the screws through but when I looked at the device I was somewhat puzzled because the unit actually consist of a front plate (what your feet taps on) and a backplate which is fixed in place by two screws (pictured above). You have to take off the two screws and then attach the backplate (pictured above), then put the front plate back on using the supplied screws. This was evident after talking with the owner of the company (which is another big plus in my book-being able to talk with someone vs some IVR system that ends up hanging up on you). Not going to ding anything for instructions because they are written very well and up until step 13, it was going along as written. The update version should just have a clarifying step on how to take the front plate off before attaching the backplate. Definitely will buy more once we update our master bathroom.

Promising but has fundamental flaws
I've been using it for two years. Can't live without out. However it has fundamental flaws that make it fail over time. 1. The seal inside one of the valves got damaged and wouldn't let the valve fully open, resulting in super slow water flow. 2. The red wire melted over time and when turning on the garbage disposal, the water would stop. Probably it shorts and since it's normally closed it would stop. 3. The direction on the enclosure is wrong. If you look inside the actual valve mechanism has the arrow the opposite way. The actual direction is IN where the mesh filter is on. And it's the opposite side. I've been having it the wrong way.

Helps reduce water consumption and germs on the faucet
The directions for installation were so clear. It made installation easy and relatively quick. It definitely helps to save water because you can control your water flow with your foot rather than having to mess with the faucet while you’re doing dishes. If I tried to turn the faucet handle on and off it would create a soapy mess on my counter. This device also keeps things much more sanitary in the kitchen because if you have messy hands from meatloaf or handling eggs or chicken, you can wash it off without having to touch your faucet. The only thing that I’m having trouble with is reprogramming my brain to get water out of the faucet from the pedal instead of the handle. Overall, I highly recommend this, if you want to reduce the water consumption during dishes, but also keep your kitchen cleaner and more sanitary.

Best thing ever!
Seriously I have recommended this to everyone! Not kidding! We had a little pantry area we put in with a small sink. My large sink has one of the sensor faucets on it. I went with a regular faucet for the pantry area after a while I was going to switch to a sensory one and then I saw this on social media. Somebody had this kickplate faucet thing and I grabbed it. It is 100 times better than the sensor faucet. It is now been a year and I’m switching out my main sink faucet to one of these ones. I love it that much! My husband thinks I’m crazy, but I think it is totally worth it! 100%
