Kodiak Furniture Linen Charcoal Full-size Futon Mattress Only

I wasn't sure it would be good when I ordered this because of the limited reviews, but we really like this futon mattress! Is it the right thickness? I have no idea, I haven't measured it. But it is thick enough that it is comfortable to lay on and sit on. You don't feel like you are sinking in, or as though it will compress over time. We mainly use ours as a couch, but now will have it as an extra bed in case we have extra company over.My dog likes to lay on it and his fur does not stick to the fabric either. The fabric both looks and feels nice and seems to be of good quality.The mattress looks quite wrinkly in my picture, that was taken the day after receiving it, the wrinkles have gone away since then.Overall, I am really happy with it and would definitely recommend this futon mattress.

Came quickly and was well packed. Color is nice, fabric appears to be of high quality and likely long-lasting. Haven't actually had the opportunity to sleep on it, but when we got it, when my daughter got home she looked at it, layed down on it (in the "couch" position) , and rather quickly went to sleep (apparently it was a long day for her). She woke up a couple hours later and pronounced it "very comfortable", at least for a nap.NOTE: Instructions say it has an internal "hinge" so that it will sit on the frame right. Some reviews have complained about it not folding up right, but make SURE you look for the label on the bottom-front of the mattress. That MUST be on the bottom, and at the front of the futon, or it won't fit and fold right.NOT: 2: Some folks said it must be on a Kodiak frame. All I can say, it works fine on our non-Kodiak wooden futon frame, and I'm not entirely sure why it wouldn't work on any standard futon frame. Of course, "your mileage may vary."In short, we are all quite pleased with it. SO much nicer than our old "stuffed" futon mattress in every way...better looking, nicer fabric, more comfortable.

So it's for a Futon couch/bed...not the best invention made for sleeping AND sitting but this works better than any other I have had. Our cheap mattresses at the cabin were old and tired and even the 2 inch memory foam we added couldn't help any more. These do not smell, have springs which actually feel nice and the 'hinge' design keeps the back from becoming the bottom. With the hinge, the back is way taller than our old mattress so sitting is vastly better. When flat for sleeping it is comfortable enough for a futon. I doubt you could get much better.

I received the incorrect color futon mattress. I ordered a brown mattress and received the stone color. I did contact the company, they were willing to send the correct mattress. Thankfully, I purchased the futon mattress for my son and he was willing to accept the color change. Pluses - mattress is as advertised. Mattress expanded to size upon removing from the plastic wrap. Their was no odors. Fabric is of excellent quality.

Wont fold up on a standard futon frame, designed to fold on a kodiak frame. Must stand at the end of the frame, hold the center of the mattress down and lift the back half of the frame up. EXTREMELY hard to get it to fold if you have the style of frame where you lift from the side and then push the frame down and in
