So my pup had a really uncommon medical emergency happen to her. She had intussusception ( which is basically the intestines telescope fold into eachother and it’s hard to diagnose since it doesn’t really show well on radiographs or ultrasounds) Which if not caught in time, most dogs only have about 3-7day survival. Starfire had a really bad case of it and ended up going into an emergency surgery after no one was finding anything on rad’s or ultrasound so I had a specialist take a look as time was ticking and she was getting worse each day. She became lethargic, pale and was leaking bloOd. She was rushed into surgery. So her small colon was taken out and her cecum. It was questionable she would survive. She had a fight in her though so her vet and me worked on finding a perfect very low fat and very high fiber diet. As now we were facing the issues of chronic diarrhea which can also be harmful. I spent days of research and finally came across this brand. The beef formula was exactly what she needed! It was expected for her to have chronic diarrhea with her disability now but within a 1.5months of being on this diet she started finally forming normal stools again! Her 3 vets were actually shocked! I’ve never seen her get so excited for feedings either! She literally started doing this once we made the switch! She’s thriving and recovering well! This food literally helped save my baby girl! Also it’s super easy to prep! I got a food container and make a couple days worth and it stores in the fridge and doesn’t smell weird or anything. I do notice once it goes in the fridge it gets more firm so I splash a little water on it before giving it- you don’t gotta do this it’s all on your dogs preference but I do it so she gets some extra hydration in her. Besides this food saving my girl, it’s actually really healthy! It’s all good stuff in there and not a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Just don’t get the grain free one. Dogs are meant to eat grains unless medically restricted from a licensed veterinarian. Hope my story sheds light on how great of a food this is!

I bought a small bag accidentally and let me say- I came back for it. My dog LOVES this food and not only is his coat shinier but his poops are so much healthier too. Do I like the smell? No- but he does and that’s who counts. So absolutely worth it for us and it is very lightweight!

My doggos are always excited for meal time with this healthy mix. Great quality foods. You can identify pieces of vegetables and fruits, etc. Smell entices the most stubborn, picky eater.

This brand/ product is such good food option for your dogs. I cook for my dog but when we travel I switch to using this because it is fast and easy to bring along. All you have to do is add water and it rehydrates the food. The ingredients also are much better than kibble. Highly recommend.

It's quite expensive, but my dog seems to love it. He's healthy and happy. He eats a pound and a half of beef and a 1/4 pound of this dehydrated food every day. If they keep raising the price, I'm going to have to start a GoFundMe campaign.

Bottom Line up Front: A waste of money. Period. My shipment of normal dog food was running a couple days behind so I popped on to Amazon and saw this really quick with high reviews and being in a hurry I bought it and didn't look into it. It was just a stop-gap solution, how bad could it be. After getting it I read the box and see that it doesn't say the source of the meats, just "beef". Then I see that it only has: - 22.5% protein - remaining is over 50% carbohydrates Yep, this is all Oats. After portioning it out and re hydrating it with bone broth it still tastes like, has the consistency of and looks like Oats. I taste what I feed my dog and I can tell you it tastes like oaty cardboard with a dark tinge to it. This product obviously has a REVIEW FARM behind it. I doubt it will be available for very long. I went to the local grocer and bought some kibble to hold my dog over. Buyer be ware!!!

My three medium to large dogs love it, however, it's very expensive compared to the regular dry food I've been giving them for years (Purina One True Instinct). I was looking for something more nutritious and somewhat of a wet food. Found this and bought it thinking it would be as much food or more than the 16.5lb bags I've been getting. Boy was I wrong. The 10lb box says it makes 40lbs worth of food. This is very misleading. I give them 1 cup of food & 1 cup of water twice a day and at this rate I will be out of food in 1 week. $70 a week is pretty steep comparitively. Each dog is picky in their own way, one will go for a couple days without touching her food if she's tired of it, one will throw it up due to occasional upset stomach, the last pretty much eats anything but doesn't like sweet things. They all love this stuff, but can I afford it? That's the question. I'm going to try mixing with dry food to extend the box. It sure smells better than typical dry food though.

This seems to be the best value for quality, not over cooked dog food. After feeding our Shepard for over a year, we are all still happy. Mixing for each meal with warm water works the best. Serving cold after refrigerating is not very appealing. Look at that coat! No more itching.

Easy to mix up for 2-3 days meals at one time. My dog loves it. A little pricey.

The fact that this expensive product cannot be returned should help decide your mind about a purchase. I'm sure it's probably well made and above average attention was paid to it's manufacture, but the fact is, my food oriented Terriers DO NOT care for this food. Besides rehydrating with water, I tried beef stock, and these less than fussy dogs still don't go for it. The product itself is the consistency of sawdust, and lacks any sort of food aroma. To me it appears unappetising and completely bland. As a retired person, watching prices and budgetary concerns, I am more than disappointed. GREAT PREMISE but lacks Substantiation..........perhaps the local RESCUE LEAGUE would use this expensive mistake of mine.

My dog hates this food! Just took 1 sniff and she won't even take a bite. I even tried a second day without any interest from my dog. She totally avoids it and would rather go hungry. And no returns. So disappointed.

I tried for 3 days and my guy who normally gobbles down everything hated it...wouldn’t touch it.
