I originally bought this for ski boots - but have ended up using it more for my children's sports cleats (and lax gloves!) We have 3 children who play soccer and lacrosse, and this is a lifesaver for getting cleats /footwear and lax equipment (gloves) dry after practices in rain. Highly recommend!!

Great boot dryer! Easy to use and has saved my boots from getting overly stinky. I work and walk a lot with boots and at the end of night it’s great to have them dry off and not sit wet through the night. Air flow through out the shoe is great and dries the whole boot. I’ve had this for about a year and it’s still in use so the durability is great. Only con I would have is that they need a lock mechanism for when you use them angled. Other than that I highly recommend this dryer.

I've been using this almost daily on waterproof work boots. They get sweaty & this has been a great help to keep the stank down. It's slow but gentle heat. I imagine it'd need a couple cycles if shoes badly soaked but for typical use it's perfectly adequate with 1 spin of the dial.

Purchased for my kids cleats and does a wonderful job drying them. Heat isn’t very hot but effective enough you don’t have to worry about burning. Is quite during operation too.

Summary: My unit is a fire hazard, clearly defective after six weeks of use, and I contacted the company over a week ago and have had no response from them. Dangerous, not recommended, particularly as they don't seem to be interested in honoring the one year warranty advertised here on Amazon. I am apparently out the purchase cost, as I'm outside the return window on Amazon. It also damaged brand new gloves that were more expensive than the unit. Avoid!Details: I received the unit and used it for the first time about a week later. It worked great at first. After a couple of weeks of light use -- basically drying one set of gloves each evening -- there was a slight bit of fan noise from one side of the unit, almost a bit of a clicking sound. I didn't think much of it.About two weeks later, I put my gloves on the unit on the heat setting in my hotel room, and left for about 40 minutes to get some food. I came back to the room and there was a very odd burning plastic smell. I turned off the unit right away. Later, I examined the situation and discovered that my gloves now had an odd burning plastic smell, and that one of the arms on the unit was clearly partially melted. That arm won't fold down anymore, either.(Images attached -- this arm originally was like the other one -- every seam was closed and tight, no gaps.)I unplugged the unit, verified that I was outside the return window on Amazon, and contacted the manufacturer. I received an autoresponse saying they got my email, that I shouldn't send more email, that they'd get to me in sequence. It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything from them.

Fantastic little boot and glove dryer! Was able to pack it into my snowboard bag for a 7 day multi-resort snowboarding trip to Jackson, Grand Targhee, and Big Sky. This worked perfectly to dry out my gloves and boots each day and was small enough to travel via airline. Worked so much better than just a normal space heater and the timer was nice to auto-shutoff after 180 minutes. Would definitely recommend!
