"The Day of the Flyers," an important event for the flyers in the Great Valley, is approaching, and free-style Petrie is having trouble flying in formation with his siblings. His friends try to help him, but a "fuzzy" newcomer named Guido gives the most helpful advice -- that it's always best to just "be yourself." No one has ever seen anyone else like Guido, and when the gang tries to figure out what kind of dinosaur he is, their questions lead them on a thrilling journey to the Mysterious Beyond. Young dinosaur friends Little Foot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, and Petrie are content with their lives in the Great Valley, but things keep changing and sometimes the friends just feel like they don't quite fit in. As Petrie struggles to perfect his flying for the very important Day of the Flyers, he realizes how different he is from his brothers and sisters and, while he and his friends value his uniqueness, it's causing big problems in the family's flight formations. Meanwhile, Cera is struggling with the arrival of a new baby sister and the resulting lack of attention from her father and Tria. When an odd creature named Guido shows up in the valley, Petrie befriends him and learns an important lesson about how to maintain his individuality while still contributing to his family's collaborative flight. A courageous act by Guido saves Cera's sister from peril, helping Cera realize how much she really cares about her new sister, and sparking a personal revelation that gives Guido a much better sense of his own place in the world. This is an entertaining animated show with a wholesome message about the importance of friendship, adaptability, and uniqueness. While waiting for this DVD to arrive I rented a different Land Before Time movie which he wasn't majorly into, so that made me a bit nervous. But this one, he really loves! The songs in it are just wonderful and he enjoys dancing along to them. And after only watching it for 2 days he's already learning the names of the characters...and he's not even 3 yet! So glad I decided to get this one for him. Maybe now he'll be more interested in the others, too. I love bringing a part of my childhood to him, sharing a common interest! Great movie with awesome songs!
My son has an obsession with dinosaurs, so when he saw this one as a preview on his old Curious George DVD I got him, I just knew he needed this movie. While waiting for this DVD to arrive I rented a different Land Before Time movie which he wasn't majorly into, so that made me a bit nervous. But this one, he really loves! Great movie for the entire family to watch!
I don't know why I waited so long to buy this series of DVD's! My kids absolutely LOVE them. I had never watched any of these when they first came out on VHS tapes, and am thoroughly enjoying watching all of them with my children. If you don't have the Land Before Time series on DVD, you should get them & add them to your collection.

Very cute movie...
I have two boys who absolutely love the Land Before Time movies. While I do agree with other reviews about the first one being the best, this one is also a favorite in our home. My kids and I searched five different stores for this movie and couldn't find it, so I decided to go online. I really appreciate the people who take the time to write reviews on here for products. I find them to be very helpful. I spent quite a while reading reviews for the other Land Before Time movies on here. I was impressed with the reviews for this one, and ended up purchasing (V) The Mysterious Island as well. We love them both!

Love these dino stories
Land before time is very well done, the colors, the characters, their nature the stories. My grandchildren love them.

Big Fan!
My granddaughter (4 1/2) has become a big fan of the Land Before Time series. We have acquired quite a few DVDs from Amazon, and this is one of her favorites. The characters are charming and display qualities that you would hope children would possess. It is a fun family movie to watch.

Great Children's Dinosaur Movie
My boys (4 and 2 years old) LOVE this movie!!! It's totally worth purchasing. I can't even say how many times we've watched it since our purchase last month! I bought it to play at the boys dinosaur birthday party and the kids all loved it. There are no hugely scary scenes and the songs are wonderful. The boys love to sing-along. This is the first Land Before Time movie we've seen, but you don't need to have seen the others to enjoy it. Recommend highly!

The Land Before Time X11: The Great DAy of the Flyers
I purchased the WHOLE set of these movies for my granddaughter a couple of years ago. She was about 14 years old at the time. She has watched this series of Little Foot for many many years. She wore out the VHS tapes. So I had to buy her the DVD's. They are wonderful for you young ones or anyone who love's to watch good clean, funny animated movies.

Y'a 14 Films en tout (De Petit Pied) en date d'aujourdhui seul le 1er est aussi offert en Bluray...et le mega boitié qui les réunis tous n'est pas 100 $ Belingue avec la piste audio en Français et je les voulais tous en Belingual et a ce prix la que soit pour vous et oû faire découvrir a des kids c'est l'iďeal Sauf si les kids tripe pas quand c'est rétro et un peu granuleux (Rien de dégeu) et dans le temps c'etait animé dessins par dessin ;)
