Lincoln Electric Viking 1740 Mossy Oak Welding Helmet; K5241-3

Overall this is a good product. I really like the veiw. My only complaint is any time there is a forklift in the area with a blinking light, the darkening feature reacts no matter how the sensitivity is set.

I've had this helmet a little over a year now. Have been using it 10 hours a day, 4-5 days a week since the beginning of May 2024 when I started my new job. Has been holding up great. Has a good amount of settings and still on the original batteries. The lenses are easy to change as well.

This is a very nice helmet. The last 3 years I have been using a 3M Speedglass helmet. Both are very good helmets. The Lincoln comes with replaceable glass lenses the 3M did not. The Lincoln has a "weld" setting the 3M does not. The 3M came with a bag for storage and to keep it clean. The Lincoln does not. :-( The Lincoln is a little heavier. The Lincoln has nicer head size adjustment knobs. It is very easy to adjust. This helmet is on the high end of the pricing but it is a name brand. I would rather spend the money on a good helmet than burn my eyeballs welding. I friend of mine is blind from un-safe welding. Buy the best and protect your vision. This is a very good helmet. The difference between this and a bargain bin helmet is quite substantial. Its super easy to adjust, while it doesn't feel like the knobs are too loose. The brand is highly reputable, so you don't have to worry about the lenses failing. Overall, I don't know how to say it in fancy technical terms, but this just feels like a quality helmet. Solid construction. No doubts it gets the job done.

I would call this a high end welding helmet. This provides all of the eye protection that I require. This comes from a well respected welding equipment supplier. Great eye protection. Great recommended product.

This helmet is very adjustable both for your head and for your eyes. The lens reacts quickly and is clear. It sits on your head comfortably and stays put when down. Also don't forget this has a 5 year warranty!
