Q: would this work to empty water out of a boat my uncle turned into a backyard pond?

It would work fine, as long as you have a 12 V power source to hook it to the pump is running. I use one to empty my fish pond out.

Q: I need to put a ball valve on this between my tsunami 1200 and my sluice, any recommendations? Could this hose accommodate a 1-1/4 inch barbed adapte?

My guess is that should work. The hose is correlated with straight sections every so often my guess would be every 18 inches or so.. Hope this helps.

Q: what size hole do i drill to install this?

I'm not sure of the correct size. Take your thru hull to the hardware store and match it up with one.

Q: Can i use this hose for "seasense hand bilge pump hose" ? i need a longer hose than what came with my bilge pump.

No, its not threaded like the one that comes with the hand bilge pump
