Feels smooth
Tattoo Aftercare Butter -2.6OZ-PainlessTattoo Balm is the item I am reviewing. I have only used this a few times but I like it! It is intended for tattoo care and although my tattoos are older, it is also for brightening older ones as well. The smell is initially odd and I wasn't sure I liked it...sort of like herbs but after applying, it went away quickly and I was left with no odor. It applied very smoothly and felt great! I rubbed it in and it absorbed fast into my skin! It left it feeling very smooth and soft and I was impressed with how good my old tattoo looked after application. I am expecting that this will keep getting better since I'm having good results even after just a few applications. Would recommend this product!

Be careful if you have sensitive skin
My skin is sensitive, so if you get hives quickly from products be careful to not apply too much, but it’s very moisturizing and for burns and stuff it’s basically lotion on a stick. It’s versatile but not I’m new tattoos just be aware

For Maintaining Existing Tattoo's, Not for Fresh Ink.
I have mixed thoughts on this product, overall, I think it has a place in the arsenal, but it also has some significant disadvantages – particularly for new tattoos. I am a big believer that if you spent a lot of money on a quality tattoo, that it should be treated like a work of art and looked after. This product is certainly marketed to people like me, and it’s nice to have for work that is a few weeks old. That said, the roll-style applicator is not at all conducive to fresh ink, I’m in the process of a coverup and tried this after removing the saniderm bandage and it just didn't work. I immediately switched to your traditional ointment that you can apply more gently. Further, this product has an absolutely terrible smell, it dissipates on the skin but it’s quite noticeable in the applicator. I will use it for maintenance of my work, but not to heal fresh work.

Helps moisture tattoo
This is a really good moisturizing cream for helping with the healing of tattoos. It helps reduce scabing and itching. It is painless and absorbs into the skin well. I use it to add a more vibrant look to my older tattoos. I recommend you try it out.

Works in a pinch.
Healing was not as fast as when using A&D, but it's great for multiple quick applications throughout the day. The deodorant style container allows you to apply without getting it on your hands or elsewhere. The slow healing, skin repair was the only reason I rated it 3 stars. Would've given it a 3.5 if possible. I have lots of ink. This has been the slowest healing process and the first time I've used something other than A&D.

I would not put it on a fresh tattoo
I've noticed others saying it smells bad. Maybe my nose is messed up but I can only smell it if I've just freshly put it on my skin and put my nose right against it. It's almost a very faint BO smell and it doesn't last long. The ingredients are nice for skin care, but I would not use them for a brand new tattoo. This would be good for after two to three weeks of healing or to moisturise old tattoos. It being a stick application makes it even worse for a brand new tattoo because you would want something more hygienic.
