Wonderful results in "Phase 1" of my plan. Hoping for the same good results in "Phase 2."
I am a 67-year-old female. In my younger years, my cholesterol hovered around 125, no matter my weight or my good-versus-bad eating habits. Over the years, the bad eating habits and weight fluctuations caught up with me, and my numbers crept up about 10-ish points every decade. Although my total cholesterol of 182 in November 2019 was still not technically "high," the numbers were high enough to be concerning for me, because if the pattern continued, I would soon be in statins territory. I was also concerned because it seemed like the rise over the years was steady, even in the years where I had lost weight and was on a serious healthy eating and exercise plan. I also believed that the rise in triglycerides and LDL could be at least partially attributed to Metoprolol, which I started taking in 2017 for SVT, and which is known to raise cholesterol levels. I've asked my docs to change my prescription to an alternative which does not have that side effect, but both cardio and primary refuse to do that, at least for now. After my breast cancer diagnosis on 1/2/20, as I learned more about my cancer and my upcoming treatments, I learned that the aromatase inhibitor (Letrozole) that I would begin taking (5-yr regimen) once all the treatments were over comes with a litany of concerning side effects, one of which is sky-high jumps in cholesterol readings. Oh joy. So now I had a big motivator to get back to a healthy lifestyle, exercise, lose weight, and get my cholesterol numbers down as low as possible before starting the Letrozole, to give me a head start on trying to keep everything in the healthy range. I also had a new diagnosis of severe GERD and chronic gastritis in February 2020, so I needed to make changes to deal with that as well. Around that time, a friend had mentioned that her cholesterol had jumped into an alarming range in the 300s, and she had achieved amazing results to lower it by over 100 points with the help of a supplement and some moderate efforts to eat healthy. I jumped on Amazon to order the supplement she was taking, and I thought I would check out some of the other similar ones that popped up that were a bit less expensive, and after landing on Heart Savior, I decided to give it a try. I started taking Heart Savior in the middle of February - two tablets on most days, four tablets on some days, and no tablets on other days. I take a lot of other supplements for various health reasons, and I was having trouble swallowing because of the GERD, so some days I just didn't want to swallow all those pills more than once, or at all. It took me almost 5 months to go through two full bottles. I also wasn't very good about remembering to take the Heart Savior pills at the optimal time of 30 minutes before a meal, as recommended, so usually, I ended up taking them with the meal instead. I didn't take any pills at all from early July to mid-August because the radiation treatments made it very difficult to swallow and killed my appetite, but I am back on them now. I had another cholesterol test done in early August, and I was super-happy to see that my total cholesterol went down. I was surprised, however, to see that my triglycerides and LDL went up, while my HDL went down, even though the total number was down. What the heck? I strongly suspect the Metropolol could have something to do with that, but my docs are still being stubborn about it and refuse to change my prescription to something else. Their attitude seems to be that if my numbers are all in a good range, why change anything. I did get them to agree to change if my numbers go back up after I start the Letrozole, because if that is the case, I am going to be a woman on a mission, and I want the Letrozole to be the ONLY med I'm taking that can affect cholesterol levels if I am going to have trouble managing it. The numbers for the last 3 readings, including the post-Heart Savior readings in August 2020, are as follows: Total: (2017) 167; (11/2019) 182; (August 2020) 143 Triglycerides (2017) 51; (11/2019) 66; (August 2020) 88 HDL (2017) 84; (11/2019) 59; (August 2020) 59 LDL (2017) 85; (11/2019) 66; (August 2020) 66 So that is the end of Phase 1 - just getting the numbers down. What I refer to as Phase 2 is beginning the 5-year regimen with Letrozole, which I'll start on September 1. I plan to continue to take the Heart Savior along with hopefully having the discipline to maintain healthy food choices and exercise. We'll see how this works! I will return here with periodic updates on how my numbers are doing. Considering how many hundreds (perhaps even thousands if I took an actual counts) of people in my various cancer support groups on Facebook report sky-high cholesterol jumps on the aromatase inhibitors (many of whom never had issues prior to starting the AI), if I am able to keep my numbers in check with the help of an affordable bottle of supplements, I will be a very happy camper and spread the word. Crossing my fingers for good results as I start Phase 2!

Awesome Product
When my monthly subscription order arrived this month I was worried that I was sent an incorrect product but after comparing the packaging and label to my last months bottle I realized that it was the same product with an updated label. This product has been a game changer for me lowering my cholesterol by more than 15 points. I’ve been using Heart Savior for more than 1 year now and it has continued to keep my cholesterol in check. I highly recommend it.

Excellent product except for gelatin capsules
This is a great product, I have been using it for many years now. It would be even greater if they made it in liquid form for those of us who have difficulty swallowing pills and capsules. The only down side is the product contains animal bi products in the form of gelatin capsules. I recently stopped using it because of this discovery. I am vegan. My husband still uses it. I would have given it five stars had it not been for this. I was mislead to believe it was an all natural product.

Smells like if a vitamin and hair perm had a baby!
I don’t have my blood work until May so I cannot speak on the effectiveness of these supplements yet. However, I will say these pills smell HORRID. If you burp after taking them, in that 30 minute wait before getting to eat (annoying and not realistic most days) then you will taste what it smells like…. Vitamin and hair perm! NASTY! I have to take a gummy vitamin after I take them just so I have something there to filter/buffer out the vitamin perm taste before eating. I don’t know if I will be able to keep these in my routine. It’s definitely not a smell/taste I could ever get used to.
