easy to assemble, strong and looks good
This is a great product . Comes well packed and slots together in the box easily for shipment . Quick and easy instructions that are simple to follow . I used a bradawl to make a tiny pilot hole for ease, but the screws are very sharp and go into the wood easily to assemble on the legs and leg brace . Do watch out for the existing screws - they are easy to see so put your screws in accordingly to avoid them . Don't over tighten your screws so that they don't go too far into the wood . And don't go too fast on the drill to avoid any chance of splitting the wood . Excellent quality , would highly recommend

Excellent!
Arrived even sooner than advised and simple to assemble the remaining pieces. Just had to be careful to position new screws so they didn’t coincide with the existing ones. Very sturdy - absolutely delighted! Thank you.

Why is there any negative feedback?
I don’t understand the negative comments around predrilled holes, position marks and cross screw interference. Seriously? This is a sturdy, solid, PART ASSEMBLED product that just needs 16 screws to fit the 4 parts together. It took less than 15mins. You don’t need to predrill! The supplied screws cut through easily. All you need to do is use an electric drill/ screwdriver to remove physical effort and to use common sense by staggering the screws to maintain wood integrity and avoid any cross screws.Yes the wood has some tanalising stains and knot holes…paint it if it offends the eye. Some people seem to want to moan about minutae for the sake of it.We are not using it as a seat but to stand the wife’s alpine pots at a convenient work height. The only problem is …..it is such good value and solidity, the wife wants another for her other pots!(But I don’t mind as it saves me a lot of time and offcut waste by letting these people do it)
