So I waited to write my review until I used it for at least a year. I bought this dehumidifier back in January of 2025. I use it in our 5th wheel during the winter. And let me say, this did not disappoint! It pulls so much moisture out of the air, which is exactly what I was hoping for. We had issues with condensation on our windows, and walls. After we got this, we’ve had zero issues with any condensation. It’s pretty quiet, compact, easy to store if needed too. Has wheels so you don’t have to lift it to move it. It’s not heavy, so if you need to lift it you can. You can adjust the percent of humidity you want, and it will shut off when it hits the percentage you set. If you have a lot of moisture in the air, you’ll have to empty the tank more frequently. But that never bothers me. We had gotten a small dehumidifier before we had purchased this, and it was just not cutting it. It’s also very energy efficient. Didn’t see any jump in our utility bill. So all in all, I’d say it’s reliable, easy to use, does what it says it would, and energy efficient. Its not some large clunky thing either, so that’s also a plus in my book! If you’re looking to get a dehumidifier, I’d recommend this one 100%

We bought this dehumidifier for our basement. I use a hose to take the water to a nearby drain. The dehumidifier did a nice job of removing the water and making the basement feel more comfortable. It is also quiet. I like the swinging cover to distribute the dry air over a wider area. Unfortunately after 6 months it looks like the defrosting process failed and ice built up on the back of the dehumidifier. The ice blocked the output to the drain hose but it did drain into the bucket. I contacted Walker about the problem. I had registered it when I bought it. After sending them a few pictures of the ice build up and copy of the receipt they are replacing the unit and also paying the shipping costs for the return. I'm happy that they are easy to work with, addressed my email in a timely manner, and didn't haggle with me over the return.

This dehumidifier does an excellent job of covering my large finished basement, as well as other areas of my home (2900 sq. ft.). It takes the moisture out of the air and keeps the basement from feeling damp and smelling musty. I live in PA and we can get a lot of rain and humidity. I have the hose (that was included in the packaging) connected in the back and have it draining directly into my sump pump drain, so I don't have to empty the bucket. We spend a good deal of time in the basement exercising, watching TV, and kids playing on the carpet and the dehumidifier helps keep the air quality better for us. It's very quiet when it's running, too! When I was deciding to purchase a dehumidifier, this one was rated very high and the price was great! I would also make mention that their customer support was very responsive and helpful when I had a few questions about the initial setup. The Waykar dehumidifier has been a wonderful addition to our home and I highly recommend it!!

This dehumidifier has made a noticeable difference in my basement. The musty smell is gone and the air feels much drier. Setup was simple, and the controls are easy to understand. I like the 90° auto swing since it helps circulate air across the room instead of just one spot. It runs fairly quiet for its size, and the continuous drain option means I don’t have to keep emptying the bucket. For a large space, it does exactly what I needed. Highly recommend for larger living area

I purchased this after my last dehumidifier died (I’d had it about five years and it had been through it). It is for my basement that gets very very damp and sometimes floods in heavy rains. Upon receiving the item I unboxed it plugged it in and it didn’t work, it was not collecting water at all. I contacted the company directly and they responded quickly to resolve my issue and sent me another one. It’s very easy to put together and the new one has been working great since I got it. The customer service is top-notch, but the product is even better. This dehumidifier, though smaller than my last one, is so much quieter and far more efficient. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
