I bought this because of a recommendation from a close friend that just had a newborn. My baby isn’t due yet, so I haven’t gotten to necessarily use it with a newborn. I have set it up in the baby’s room for when he does come, & I’ll say the overall design & build quality are great. The ease of use seems pretty straight forward and easy, if there some things you can’t understand..a quick skim through of the manual will solve that. It’s probably anywhere from 5-15 pounds, so it’s pretty easy for anybody to move around, making it easy to move it from babys room to living room etc. The cushion/pad it comes with is high quality material and seems so comfortable, that I wish they had one in my size 😉 There are plenty of different swinging paths, sounds and modes to choose from, & I thought the baby cry sensor was a very useful idea for dads and moms that are constantly busy with other things, and having something to just help you for a few more minutes while getting things done is a plus in my eyes. Overall I would recommend to anybody..and will include any additional comments once my baby is here and we out this thing to use!

I bought this swing in November 2024, and now it’s the end of May 2025. My 1-year-old (15 lbs) didn’t care for it much, which was fine because I mainly purchased it for our new baby who’s due any day now. In total, it’s been used for less than 10 hours—and now it suddenly won’t even turn on. It tries to power up, then immediately shuts off. Graco did offer to replace the base, which I appreciate, but I honestly don’t want another one. If it broke this quickly with minimal use, I really don’t trust it to hold up with a newborn using it daily. On top of that, it doesn’t do nearly as much as I expected for the $300 price tag. It doesn’t swing side to side at all, which was disappointing, and the motion it does have is clunky—not smooth or soothing like I had hoped. It looks nice, but overall it just hasn’t delivered on performance or durability. I really wanted to love this, but I can’t recommend it based on my experience. Thankfully, Amazon is fixing the issue by letting me return it now. I love graco products and just purchased the duetsoothe swing now to replace this, but graco just did not impress with the smart sense!!

As expected.I bought for my grandson

I have my third set of twins in May and this is the best baby swing we have ever had. My first two sets of twins hated their swing, but it was because I bought a cheap one. This is money well spent. Our twins love them. The cry detection setting is also amazing, it will sense the baby is crying and change motion and song. So far, we have had no issues. We have two houses and I currently own 4 of these swings! I would not settle for anything less. Again money well spent!

Bought this as a shower gift for a coworker and she says the baby loves it! Will say that the box it came in was a shipping box and was all beat up on one corner. I was hoping if I opened the package that there would be an interior box which would be nicer to give but no such luck. She did tell me though that it was packed well and there was no damage. It went together just fine. A bit expensive but I got it on sale which helped a bit.

Bought this product for our baby, had it for about a month and it broke. Reaching out to the company for replacement was simple, after a few photos and videos they sent a replacement to us. The replacement works well, you can turn the soothing function on or off as needed. The soothing function does sometimes struggle to work if the tv is in or if there’s a lot of noise going on. The unit itself is pretty bulky, but that was expected. Easy to put together. It has a lot of settings so you can find something for pretty much and baby. All in all, if I were in an area that receiving a replacement was faster, I would purchase the product again. We do like it, it was just frustrating to spend so much money on a product for it to break so soon. But the company made it right and that deserves recognition
