Bigger then 6 inches, 6 inch cap and pipe are extremely loose, inside 1/4 inch bigger then pipe . Cap slides right down inside female end!!! Buyer beware!!!

These elbows arrived on time and in new condition. They were exactly what I was looking for.

It's fine, no problems with the elbow itself. They are sturdy and fit fine with 6" sewer pipe. I'm giving it 4 stars because every piece had red stickers (sometimes more than 1) on it that were really hard to get off. Took me a while to get off, even with alcohol. Annoying.
