Exactly what we needed
We had a service dog that was terrified of bug zappers, so we never used one on our deck. We have since added a roof to our deck to spend more time outside, and thought we might want to keep down the irritation of the local pests, plus we live next to 80 acres of woods. This product has really filled the need. Quiet, light and rechargeable along with simple to clean, we just ordered a couple more for the side patio and my mother-in-law's front door. Great product.

Does not work
This product is attractive and lightweight, but it does not work. It does not stay charged for long at all after a solar charge or plugging in to charge. It will turn off within 5 minutes. I have not seen any bugs being killed in the device, nor are they drawn to it other than the white light when turned on. I feel that it was a waste of money and had to order a different brand.

No auto sunset on setting
Updated review 2: i deleted a star down to 3. This one quit working g after 4 months. So now I am You have to charge it with the cord before first use and that was after 12 hours in the sun. It doesn't have an auto on at sunset setting. So it doesn't prepare an outdoor area for bug free before you go out. It is very light snd possibly flimsy. It blows over or swings in the lightest breeze. . I don't know how long it would stay lighted on a picnic table with the zapper and white light on. Will update after more use.

Best if you can charge it via a USB Cable
It would be nice if when it charged during the day, it would remember it's on/off settings and automatically turn on at dusk and return to those settings. Thus, if I have it hanging on a tree in my yard, it would automatically turn on every night at dusk. As it is, I have to go physically turn it on each night.

Great product!
Have such a problem with mosquitos at my front door. Hung it up and within a minute, killed the mosquitos. It is quiet operating so you don't know it is even on. Can be used safely indoors or outdoors. It is not just an insect zapper! It is also a handy convenient camp light with brightness controls. I ordered one and now I am ordering another!
