Aggressively protective, and aggressive adhesive!
I've lost 3 Dexcom G7s to a series of unfortunatate events that included turning around too fast in a chair and catching the device on my seatbelt. Life goals, right? The overpatch provided by Dexcom gets the job done if you live in a bubble or exude a natural glue layer on your skin, but it doesn't stop small bumps and tugs from tearing the needle out of my skin.Enter Skin Grip, the next best solution to duct tape and a bit friendlier for skin. After using close to a full bag, my verdict is buy these if you need an overpatch that withstands regular physical activity, showers, mosquitos the size of house cats, and leather seats.Skin Grip is a lifesaver. FWIW, I wear the patch *and* overpatch from Dexcom. The Good:Skin Grip keeps the Dexcom G7 completely covered and attached for the duration of the sensor's life. It's protected me from my seat catching the sensor, running through airports, lugging a heavy backpack, and everyday activities without a blip. You can just live your normal life without fear of ripping out the expensive medical device in your arm.Signals between the phone and G7 seem completely unaffected by the patch or glue. The patch is water resistant and laughs in the face of a good scrubbing, kayaking, or weights. My preferred bandages are the pastels, and they keep their colour throughout wearing. The Mid:The edges on the overpatch fray pretty readily. By day 4, I'm seeing rough threads poking out. Expect more if you wear short sleeves, a bag that rubs against your arm, or any source of friction on the site where you wear your Dexcom.I would like more designs or colours, especially as camo *really* isn't my thing. Some vibrant seasonal shades would be much appreciated. The Bad:Skin Grip's adhesive is *strong*. So strong after 10-12 days, you need some baby oil, mineral oil, or possibly a jackhammer to remove it without tearing off the top layer of your skin. Applying Skin-Tac prior to the bandage works wonders! I've taken a pretty rough tear because of a patch that refused to come off. Lesson learned. Don't rip this baby fast, or you will hurt yourself.

Much stronger than the patches included in the G7 box
I buy these for my father and his Dexcom G7 glucose monitor. They apply easily and stick well when he showers or has other clothing challenges. They also stay much better than the overpatch included in the G7 box. It costs a little more but if it keeps those G7 sensors in place, it's worth it!

Works, but needs extra adhesive
I have been buying these for about a year now. I purchased these after receiving my Dexcom g7. The ones that come with the Dexcom do not work for me. I purchased these in hopes that they would do the job.The colors are vibrant, they are true to what you see in the photo. I have done the purple and the pastels. Using just the Skin grip, I can get about 4-5 days use.I choose to use these in conjunction with the Skin Tac wipes for extra adhesive. It’s those, these will stay in place for over 10 days.In this photo, I’m on day 7. They do get wrinkly once wet, but I find they don’t lift as long as I use these skin tac wipe. These are very nice quality. They are thicker and don’t typically cause me any irritation.I do find they fray very easily though.

Thank You Amazon
I can’t say this enough but Amazon really has a lot of medical supplies or whatever diabetics need. I’m a newly diagnosed diabetic and I felt self conscious with a meter on my body. But these products are very helpful. And I like that there’s designs! I was worried about my Dexcom getting knocked off but the patch is waterproof! And it’s been holding my Dexcom in place for a week now. They fray a little but that’s normal, the adhesive is very strong so make sure to shave your belly before you put one on. It’s very comfortable and the colors are bright and lively. I bought like 3 more since I’ll be diabetic for while or something like that.

Product works very well!
Thèse work very well to keep the sensor in place and seem to last for the ten days the sensor works. The material is soft and easy to remove without any irritation to the skin underneath.

Great usually, gross this time around
This is my third time buying these and I love them, but this time around something gross was on the sticker part. That’s the part that’s going on my body so I had to throw some of them away.

Excellent overlay patch for Dexcom G7 sensor.
I've been using the Skin Grip overlay patches since I started using a Dexcom G7 early last autumn (2024). It is the perfect size and stays on very well for the full 10 days and yet is not very difficult to remove after the Dexcom sensor expires.

Not a bad product overall, but not worth the price of admission...
This review is for the Dexcom G7 overpatches without the cut out. This is my first ever purchase of the item. It is not a sponsored item. I purchased directly from Amazon and shipping took about a week. While these are tough covers for the CGM, for me, they are not worth the $1+ per patch. They feel like a heavy bandage or medical tape. The adhesive protective backing paper is not easy to remove once the center of the patch is over the device like others I've purchased. They seem like they will last, but the cost is difficult to justify. The size and color are fine. They do seem stretchable. Likely, if you're highly active, it could be worth the cost for the flexibility. So, unless they prove amazing, I won't be purchasing again due to 1) cost of the item and 2) removal of the backing paper. To the manufacturer - consider making the backing papers to extend over each other and outside the patch area to make for simpler removal. Also, consider increasing the weight of the backing paper. I had difficulty removing all sections of the paper and still may have paper underneath the patch. The paper tears easily and leaves remnants behind. This is the only brand of patch I've ever had this problem with.Update: I had planned to keep these and try to use them. I needed to use one today. It was nearly impossible to get the backing to peel off once it was partially attached. Absolutely not worth the time and difficulty required to deal with it. The patch could easily be ruined.
