Seems to be charcoal but...
It is indeed charcoal - as far as I can tell by the way it behaves with liquids. The problem is that I can feel rocky dust in it which shouldn't be there - small crystals of some kind of stone. Can be felt when grinding teeth. I don't know if they add it for the weight but it should be smooth and it isnt.
