A lovely book of memories for my grandchild
A perfect way of leaving my only granddaughter a way of learning about me. She is only a year old and I am 71 years of age and although I'm in very good health, the fact that we are separated by 400 miles, I don't get to see her as often as I would like, and get to know her and vice versa, this book will fill her in on what my life was when I was growing up and beyond. It covers everything that I hope she will find interesting.

A lovely book with good prompts, but is more for an American audience with American English spellings and words and sections about which presidents you’ve voted for etc.

How in-depth it is
This book covers everything your grandchild will need to know about his grandparents life and more. I was really impressed with the quality of this book!!

a lot of work but worth it
THis is a rich collection of questions from a child’s perspective to get to know you - We have 2 grandkids and lots of the answers are the same as they are about our childhoods BUT some are specific to the grandchild. We bought 4 of these books: my husband and I each doing one for each grandkid. Wrote most of my written words on the computer and printed them out and pasted them into the books - double copied photos. Some questions really made me think … some are no brainers … some don’t directly apply but can be used as a starting point to a train of thought. Was interesting to see my life this way!!! I’m writing these books when the grandkids are 3ish - want to make sure I have the energy to put into them!! - but will probably leave it up to the mom and dad to decide when is best to give it to them. They are too young now to appreciate the depth of the material.

Beautiful book
I have purchased a different book for each of my 3 grandkids and this one is by far my favourite! I recommend this to any grandparent wanting to leave something personal for their grandchildren. Would also make a great gift for grandma or grandpa!
