Dude. I was changing the batteries on our chicken coop door and some bugs were hitting me in the head. I was swatting at them and didn't think anything of it. The next morning I noticed a friggin bald-faced hornets nest right above the door! They were warning me. Luckily I didn't get LIT UP!! So, I set out to figure out how to get rid of these bad boys. In doing so, I found this thing. It fit perfectly on my pole saw pole and I got it set during the day, with a can of spray, facing the nest. I went out at night to sneak attack them bad boys. My heart was racing and I was ready to make a break for it if they started swarming, but nothing happened. I pulled the string from 30 feet away and didn't hear anything. So, first thing I did wrong, was trying to do this in the pitch black of night. That was stupid. You can't see anything, what am I even doing here. Second thing, was I had the can and this contraption set up horizontally to the poll. So, when I pulled the string, it didn't PULL DOWN on the can's trigger. You need to set it up at an angle so when you pull the string it depresses the can's spray. The next day, I got it set at a better angle and went out at dusk. PERFECT! I emptied the can on the buggers and not a single one made it out of the nest! This thing worked like a charm. I got rid of the nest and didn't get stung. And, I kept a good distance from the poison. Great product!!

Works as advertised. Attached to a long pole creates an excellent standoff weapon against wasps and bees.

I only used this a few times and it worked fairly well, however. the plastic band that holds the spray can broke after the 3rd use. I was using it to spray a carpenter bee infestation at the time. Maybe they could upgrade the plastic band to a steel band ? Otherwise it worked as expected.

Works great. I use it for spraying pruning spray after I cut a branch that I can not reach from the ground.

I have a two story house and had tons of yellow jacket nests under the eves. I tried using Dawn dish soap with a hose end sprayer, killed some but they kept coming back. Ordered this and picked up some spectracide Hornet and Wasp spray, the red and black label can. It was easy to get close to the nests on the second story. Killed a lot on contact and this spray claimed that it would stop others from returning which it did...No yellow jackets since then. It was extremely easy to use on a painters pole. No ladders and far away as not to get stung. Great product.

Works great for spray painting hard-to-reach areas! I can't get up on a ladder, so this tool really helped me spray paint the bare metal spots on my eave. Now my house looks much nicer in front. Before and after photos attached!

the black ziptie that attaches the spray can to the adaptor broke immediately. I needed to use it asap so I just duct taped my can to it so that I could use it. like others have said, I only need it a couple times a year so ill just keep it and duct tape when I use it.

strap already broke...can this be replaced? I got it in July 2024.

Not very well made. The zip tie / clamp broke in 3 places the first time I tried to tighten it around an aerosol can. I had to attach the can with industrial zip ties. Then, the connector that screws on to the pole cracked as I removed the unit from the pole. I'd recommend finding a better made / more sturdy product.
