I have an older phone, obviously, if I'm using this case, but this case is soooo damn good that when I took my current phone into the mobile store for a possible trade-in estimate, the tech was AMAZED by how clean the phone was on the inside! All the ports were clear of lint/dust, and that's due to how TIGHT the seals are on this Unicorn Beetle Supcase! When I upgrade the phone, I will be ordering another Supcase to cover it!

GREAT. I had this with my a13. I is an all around good case. I broke a few of them, but it was my fault. I had it clipped on my side and caught it on the arm of a chair a few times. If there is a case as good and more durable I would like to try it out.

I've had this case for over two years and it's held up incredibly well. I'm super clumsy and I can't tell you how many times I've ending up accidently dropping, tossing, or throwing my phone with this case on it and the phone itself has never sustained any damage. The corner of the front frame of the case actually broke after one particularly rough incident, but the outer case still holds everything in place and I've had no issues continuing to use it. I really like the built in screen cover. It protects the screen from scratches. My son has the same case and dropped it hard onto some rocks and the cover actually got a hole in it but the phone screen wasn't nicked at all. I feel like tempered glass protectors crack too easily. Occasionally debris can get in under it, but it's easy enough to clean out and it's worth it for the full body protection it offers. I've just ordered my 3rd supcase for my new phone and I won't go with any other brand since this one has been so reliable.

Third Unicorn Beetle case I've purchased. The first one saved my daughter's phone from sudden death, when she left it on the roof of her car, and it fell off on the first corner. The second one I'm using for about 4 years now, and it is protecting my phone daily. This one, which the post is about, was for my husband. I know his phone will last longer than his average phone. Not like the last one, that fell and the screen cracked, while wearing another brand's protection.

This case is very much a mixed bag. The pros: - Looks good. - Very sturdy, and I would believe it handles drops well, although I haven't tested that. - Kickstand is very functional, and I like that it stands the phone in both portrait and landscape. The cons: - Quite bulky, in my opinion. - The mechanism to open the case is annoying. I watched the company's video for opening with a key and put a couple of nice gouges in the case. I'm afraid to open this when the phone is in. Perfect opportunity to scratch the glass. - Biggest problem is that the cover over the screen, along with the bulk of the bezel, makes the touch more difficult. I have to try to swipe from the top several times to bring down the notifications window. Same with button clicks, have to press harder than expected. - While the cover over the charging port probably keeps the dust out, it makes it more challenging to connect the cable. You have to use two hands to open the flag, then hold it down with one finger, then get the cable in. Overall, not a fan. I'm shopping for something else.

Great performance (saved my phone once already) and great style. The stand is a bit awkward to deploy and certainly not as indestructible at the rest of it. The USB cover is a minor faff to charge, but protects perfectly from pocket fluff. I've not noticed any real performance loss of speakers or mic. It's a shame the back camera panel is a simple rectangle rather than including a cut out for the flash, as it does leave unnecessary exposure of the rear. Still, looks smart enough with black on black. The front screen protector works well for touch. The front camera has a cut out, which leaves a chance for water increase beneath. The outer bezel has a good standoff to keep the screen clear of surfaces, but does add quite a bit to the overall size of the phone. Not an issue if you have size XL hands, but could be a pain if you don't!

The side buttons on the case was not in the same place as the buttons on my phone.
