Limited exterior life
While this does supply a reasonable non-slip tread, after one wet season, the tape de laminated from the adhesive backing. I had prepped the wood well before applying to my deck stairs and it did make through the rainy season in central coastal California, but through the subsequent summer, it curled and lifted off the backing, leaving a fine film adhered to the wood tread. I just removed and replaced with new material, but next year, I'll invest in non slip nosing material that nails or screws down.

Working so far
It's been two months since I installed the tape on my old, wooden, pitted and splintering, basement steps. I first wiped the steps down with a damp cloth, let them dry, and then cut and put the tape on. It stuck really well and has continued to stick, even though the steps are uneven and have gaps.I'll hazard a guess that this is going to last a while because of how firmly fixed it feels now. There is no slippage and no peeling.I haven't used the glow in the dark tape so I can't answer to that.

Not bad
On the positive side, the adhesive was better than I expected. After a thorough cleaning of the target surface with alcohol, and given some firm pressure it stuck solidly, and I'm confident it will stay stuck. On the negative side the tape was thinner than I expected, and frankly wasn't as rough as I would have liked. I used it to provide a more solid footing on step leading down into my sailboat; I think it will help a little, but I really would have liked something more aggressive.I won't be using the free luminous stuff as it seems smooth and much more slippery than the surface I'm trying to make non-skid.

Easy to use, stayed in place even after the rain.
Very easy to install and use. We were worried that it might not stick well, because it rained and then was very cold the days following us using it on the porch steps, but it hasn't budged at all. Appreciate the bonus glow in the dark tape that's included, as well. We live a bit away from the closest street light, so the extra glow to know where the steps are has been helpful for guests.

Anti skid tape builds confidence
I purchased the anti skid ”marks” when she is moving around outside. However I first found I needed it for the dog stairs I had purchased for my other dog. She was sliding around on each step & refused to go up them. Placing the non skid tape on the dog stairs resolved the issue. Later I put the tape down outside so that the texture change would help her find the stairs & door.

This anti slip tape works
I bought this to add to a wood access ramp for my mom. I was a little concerned with how well it would handle the weather here in MA. The ramp is partly protected from the elements and the anti slip tape has held up well over the last year or two. I did clean the boards and dry them, and then heated the tape with a hair dryer when I put it down, and it looks like it will last at least a few more years... I just bought more to add to our stairs that are fully exposed to the elements, but I expect it to hold up well.I haven't used the glow in the dark tape so I don't know if it works or not.

Doesn't last long outdoors.
It was easy to apply to the wooden ramp of my tool shed but it began to fall apart after a couple of months of use. I was not too happy with the quality.

Very good grip and they stay stuck.
We bought this to put on some camper leveler chocks we have for our travel trailer. The chocks are the type you drive onto and are made of slippery plastic. These strips made the tires grip the chock much better without slipping. We also found other uses for it. We put them on our entry stairs in the garage. Nice grip. They've been on the stairs for about 8 months now and no sign of peeling up or any other sign of wear and tear.
