Q: How many seeds per pot, or per square foot recommended?

Ultimately finish at between 1 and 4 plants per square foot. That said, starting germination as a canopy (sea-of-green) indoors works well. Seeds per pot: For example - Sprinkle more than you need and thin them back to your personal preference. Recommended between 100 and 500 seeds across the surface of a single 10-gallon nursery pot filled with Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil. I like the 10-gal nursery pot because you can have multiple plants in a single pot all the way through flowering. Ideal Germination: Start indoors and above the 10-gal nursery pot is an LED grow light. After sprinkling seeds across the soil surface slowly pour 1 gal tap water over the soil to drench the soil without burying the seeds. Carefully water again as needed days later when the soil surface looks dry. Very high rates of germination within 3-10 days. Have the light on a 24-hr timer so 18 hours light, 6 hours darkness. 70F-80F, 45%-55% humidity. Once the sprouts are starting to get some strength and size to them (4-6 inch tall) a gardener could thin the canopy out or (carefully) transplant as needed. On an indoor 24-hour Light cycle: 18 hrs light/6 hrs dark is flowering 12hrs light/12hrs dark is vegetative
