Casper Sleep Essential Cooling Pillow – Standard Bed Pillow

I was so hesitant to buy a pillow that costs this much since I usually buy the cheap pillows from Ross. However, this was by far the best decision ever made when it comes to pillows! I got the Essential Cooling Pillow and at first it was a bit bulky - yet- fluffy and soft with medium support. It needed to go through a break-in period but the feel of this pillow and the weight it so luxurious. It's 2026 and I got this in 2023. I know, gross, I should replace them soon but it speaks for itself that till this day, still incredibly comfortable, I love hugging the pillows, I use them to sleep on my side, upright, and on my stomach. It's so easy to fluff them up and manipulate them into the shape and form you want. So versatile, so lovely. I made the mistake this past month of buying the Casper foam cooling pillows. The foam pillow is too firm, feels like a rectangle pizza box, so stiff, not as cool as this pillow, and was causing me pressure pains to my ear so again, reinforces my love of these essential cooling pillows!

It is cooling. It is thick; but you gotta fluff it often as indicated. The fabric feels high quality. Its washable!! You can also put it in the dryer on medium heat. Even though the instruction labels didnt mention dryer- approved, Ive done it twice with no issues. Highly recommend for the price

I really wanted to love this pillow based on all the positive reviews, but it just wasn't the right fit for me. While it's soft and comfortable, it doesn't provide the neck support I was expecting. I found myself waking up needing to readjust it throughout the night, and I didn't notice any improvement in my neck comfort or sleep quality. The cooling feature is nice, and the pillow appears to be well made, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of fewer. I can see why some people may love it, especially if they prefer a softer pillow. Unfortunately, if you're specifically looking for good neck support, this one may not meet your expectations. It just wasn't the right pillow for my sleeping preferences.

My husband prefers a fluffy soft pillow and I prefer a sturdy harder one. This is actually the perfect mix and we both use one. It is cooling, which is a nice feature but that means it's dry clean only (hence the 4 stars). It's King size so long and very comfortable. Worth the money and very supportive. My husband's last one lasted well over a year despite me washing/drying it regularly before realizing it was dry clean only. It could have easily gone a lot longer, but we got him a new one when we got a new bed.

This pillow feels like a nice quality pillow. Perfect amount of fill and keep you stable when sleeping. The temperature is good not not much cooling compared to the snow version. But still worth the money.

Favorite pillow so far!

I don't normally write reviews, but wow was this one of the worst pillows I've ever had. When I got it and took it out of the plastic it looked and felt pretty nice. But once I actually tried to use it the first night it was just awful. It had absolutely no support whatsoever, it just completely flattened. I'm talking 5-7 inches high when not used, a really fluffy looking pillow. But none of that stays when I put my head on it. Fluffing it as it said to do did nothing. I sent it back for a refund after only a couple hours of trying and failing to get to sleep. I don't know if I somehow got a defective pillow or something based on most of the other reviews being good, but looking online and I've seen comments that just in the last couple years the quality of the Casper Pillows may have gone down, so that could explain it.

I used to have these pillows back home, and they were a game-changer. The pillow doesn't get too warm, it is fluffy enough without being too big, and it is like sleeping in a cloud. My husband is used to Scandinavian-style pillows, and he prefers these now. They are worth the splurge!

Very comfortable pillow, firm yet soft. Alternate between it and a neck pillow during night.
