To me this has fruity scent notes out of the can. But yet when I add my hot water, it still has a depth of flavor. I tend to like dark roasts, but this gives me the same smooth depth without the chicory chocolatey flavor notes of your typical dark roast. It’s nice to have in my rotation. Lately I have really been loving instant coffees because there are easy to make in the morning. I feel this one is a quality one. The size of the can is reasonable for the price. The grains are a nice texture…this is not a powdered instant coffee.

I prefer dark roast coffee but I’m getting sensitive to the caffeine and acid. So I’ve been on a search for low acid and decaf instant coffees. Most of them have been disappointing, in both flavor and aroma. Boomi medium roast instant coffee is my new favorite. The aroma is not quite the punch dark roast is, but honestly what is? When you open the can the smell is not strong. It’s more nutty, but once you add hot water the aroma is very inviting. The flavor is rich, has some intensity but it is very smooth. I prepare my coffee with half and half and coconut sugar or raw sugar and cinnamon. The other reviews say it has no flavor but I suspect that’s all in the mix. The directions say one teaspoon for 6 oz of water. Most mugs are 10 0z or larger so it might be wise to get the measuring cup out to see how many cups your mug can hold. I cup = 8oz. I use two teaspoons in my 10 0z cup for a stronger brew. Now that I have only one mug of caffeinated coffee each day and I’m too lazy to brew it, Boomi coffee is very enjoyable. Now on to search for a decent decaf instant. Any suggestions anyone? Try it!

The coffee tastes very good, and my family recommends it to friends. I'm grateful to be able to find this very mellow, pleasant coffee. But you have to read the value explanation on this page very carefully. When I clicked on the page, the price was telling me about $15 and the title said up to 200 cups, so I purchased at that price. But I had misunderstood - that title was just going to stay the same for all sizes. It meant if YOU change and choose the larger quantity you could make 200 cups. So, it's easy to pay for half the coffee you think you are getting. Also, these are in very thin, delicate tins, and mine are pretty banged up. There's just a paper-thin transparent bag to hold the two tins together and Amazon is shipping in a bag. The transparent bag had damage, too, so this may be shipping damage. Arrangements should be made so that such delicate tins of a food product could have better protection. The tins could be attractive - even reusable or up-cyclable rather than throw-away - if they could get to customers safely.

Love this instant coffee. It tastes great! Does not upset my stomach like many other instant coffees do. Nice mellow taste.

Tastes great and froths similar to the Nescafe Gold if you hit it with the frother as you pour in the hot water.

I've bought this before and enjoy the coffee's rich taste. Today, however, I can't get my new tin open. Three people tried and we eventually had to use a screwdriver. Now the tin is damaged and I've had to put the coffee in a different container.

I add a couple teaspoons of this to my peppermint hot cocoa for some caffeine. It dissolves instantly. Highly recommend!

I give five stars for taste and 3 stars for price - 4 stars overall. I have been using Kava Instant Low Acid coffee for over 30 years. However, since they went out of business and then someone else started manufacturing the item, the taste hasn't been the same. Out of curiosity, I thought I'd see if there are other brands out there and found this one - all I can say is "Dang! This is good!" And I mean goooooooooood! I believe I'll be totally switching over to this, but dang it's expensive. So is Kava, but they give you more for the money. Of course, more of a bad thing doesn't equal less of a good thing... I didn't write a review right away because I thought "No way this is low acid - it doesn't say it on the label." But... it hasn't given me any issues in my week of usage, and believe you me, any other type of coffee does. So now I trust that this is definitely low acid. Honestly can't beat the taste, so if you're thinking about trying it - stop thinking about it and do it!
