Pediatric Eye Chart for Kindergarten Child 10 Feet

Using this for eye exercises to help reduce myopia and works great. Would look cute in a nursery too!

I ordered these pediatric charts to do distance acuity testing for young children in the schools. They are perfect. I am going to order more.

This is pretty much the same chart that our toddler just can to read/see at the doctor's last month. I have the same complaint about this chart, as I did the one at the office. They shouldn't have icons that aren't necessarily known to a 3 year old. The two icons that were problematic were the sailboat and the flag. The boat wasn't too bad, as she was eventually able to describe that it sort of looked like a boat. For the flag, toddlers only really associate the American flag as being called a flag for the most part... so our toddler started by saying, "I don't know what that is. It's like a box with a star in it. What is that supposed to be Daddy?" "I DON'T KNOW EITHER. Maybe a flag?", I said. I want to deduct a star for this, but I realized that this is pretty much the industry standard for child eye charts. I do like that each line has the vision rating printed next to it, like 20/20, 20/10, etc. When it comes to the quality of the chart, it is printed on thick canvas. The frame ends are cheap wood with brad nails holding it together. Usually wood looks better than plastic, but I'm not sure in this case. It would've been nice if it was made with a different kind of wood that has some weight to it - especially since the chart takes a few days for the curled up shape to flatten out. At $12 with a 10% coupon, it's price appropriately.

An Amazing Eye Chart for Young Kids! It is Really Durable, Cloth! Sturdiness, the wood is sturdy but the cloth is good and strong, though it wrinkles easily!!!!! Value for money: I believe it is of good Value, it has helped me realize just how bad my daughter's eyes were and I strongly believe it would be great for any Doctor's office to have! My Doctor needs this, they could has used it for my daughter instead of testing her eyes using a cellphone and as an eye chart. I think that this is perfect for Kindergarden and Pre-K Teachers, to be able to test their eyes and also for School Nurses. I am so happy to have thus, I was able to use it to test my daughter's eyes and we can easily test my Great-Gran Neices & Nephew's eyes. Which is Awesome! It is always good to have around incase you do damage to your eyes and unsure if it has gotten better or not. Have it set up and test it periodically and pay attention to the mark you are standing on and how clear it is each time, make a mental note and pay close attention to if it gets worse over time. Plus, this would have been great for when my brother-in-law burned his eyebrows and damaged his good eye. If we knew how good it was (by the mark and which line he could read), then we could have known how much damage had happened before going to the doctor about it. This Eye chart was able to let me know that my daughter did truly need glasses and that her eye sight has gotten much worse than before. This could also be a gift for your child or grand-child. You can inspire them to go into the Eye Doctor Field. (Expecially, if that is your profession or your parents profession. Things like this could inspire them, as long as you help them know how to use it so they know.. which is simple to do!)
