My five year old and I have tons of fun with this rocket! If you want the maximum launch height, fill it about ¼ of the way with water and most importantly, use the TWO rubber gaskets on the part that connects to the rocket and pumps in the air. The instructions provide two gaskets but only suggest adding one. Two gaskets creates more friction, which allows for more air pressure to be put inside the rocket. We got ours stuck on our roof and even a tree in the front yard, so yes, it really can go that high! The yellow nose is a great model design, as it falls, the nose is soft rubber that takes the impact so that the hard plastic shell of the rocket doesn't take the impact. Very fun and reusable! Worth the price!
