I've only deducted a star as these sandals rub my bunion, but then most shoes do. I buy these as the foam sole is so comfortable for my arthritic feet that I don't have to wear my arch supports. They also provide a tad more height to my 5 feet 2 inches! They're great for walking on hard surfaces as they cushion the ankle joints. They're also great for hot weather, being essentially tied to the feet. The nubbly surface of the inner sole provides grip, so the feet don't move about. That means no gripping with the toes, which leads to hammer toe deformity. Once the velcro is properly situated, the foot is held securely, Plus, I think these look great with shorts, jeans or dresses as they're quite boho in style.

This is the second pair my wife has she got the white pair a couple of years ago. She’s not worn these yet but will in the better weather. Same good fit and foot support a little higher sole so more for the marinas than rock pools . A functional fashion shoe hard wearing and long lasting . We both wear tevas on the beach round the pool on short country walks. This pair will do the shopping malls and street cafes in style just but don’t try too much off road hiking the shoe is too high for a ramble . These will lift the leg so a longer pair of jeans or a skirt can be worn. Fashion function and looks you can’t really go wrong

Love these sandals! I have had Teva so I knew the fit would be correct. The thick platform cushions my very arthritic feet and I have no problem walking in them.
