What cute little pans!
Okay because I am a glutton for color I got expansion pans. NOw I have 16 colors! in a tiny little pan set that can fit into the palm of my hand. WHAT!? I am not sure how successful this will be but I also bought the classic travel set and it came with a double sided brush that is perfect for these tiny boxes. I hope my pigment lasts long enough for the pay off. I wish that the company had a kit option where you could just add the split pans to the over-all order. I also wish the expansion pans were interchangeable with the classic and micro.

A bit overpriced but pretty nifty.
These things are slightly overpriced, but on the other hand folks using a portable painter micro aren't going to be super price sensitive, and these do what it says on the tin.The quads are a bit small for me, but the duals are great. And going from six to eight wells is worth it.Thing to be aware of, these don't play well with the standard wells in the same row. So you couldn't use all standard pans but one quad. The row has to be full of these expansion pans.For me this isn't a problem, since I loaded up with duals in every slot.These are made out of the same stuff as the standard pans, so no reason to think they won't last over time.
