I was hesitant when buying this product as I didn't know whether it would work or not but when I plugged my BMD TVSHD to it, it works perfectly! No loss in quality and an excellent product for its price.

Nice compact unit that just works.I put 4 stick-on rubber feet on it as it comes with none. The unit comes with a 5v power supply but I’ve also powered it off a cheap universal iPhone mains plug (with the usb socket) though I’m not sure how long one of those would run it for but it may be an option if in anything happened to the power supply that came with the unit - but it worked fine for the 20 mins I used it for. There’s also an option to register the unit on line for a 5 years warranty.A bit expensive at £47 I think £20 would have been more realistic based on other bits of kit I’ve purchased and that’s the only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 but pleased so far.

I purchased two of these splitters. Each one was used to split incoming signal and has worked flawless so far on location.The BNCs are pretty close together so it can be a little fussy removing and connecting BNC connectors if you're stacking these on top of each other. Its low profile is great though to save some space on the video cart.For those trying to get DC power or use their own AC adapter. The power supply is 5V DC at 2A with a consumption of 5W. The pin is positive and the outside is negative if you're wiring it up yourself.Update 09/01/2018: Had to edit from 5-star to 4-star. One of the two units I purchased failed. It was used daily and turned on for approx.12 hours a day alongside the other unit. The failure occurred after about 10-days. When the failure occurred it was currently in use. Image dropped out, but the power LED remained on. Tried different feeds, and cables and was still not able to get an image again.I'm disappointed in the fact it was $29 when I bought it, and three weeks later after the failure it went to $50. Amazon will reimburse, but I will have to shell out $20 for a replacement. I still find it as the cheapest option for a 1 to 2 splitter and the other splitter I own is still operating. So I'm willing to give it another chance.
