Excellent Iron for hard to press items
Love this iron! Perfect for my jeans and cotton shirts. Presses out wrinkles without much effort. Steam presses and no water leaks.

High quality, efficient, built to last
The Rowenta Steam Force Stainless Steel Soleplate Steam Iron is HANDS DOWN the best iron money can buy! The steam power is absolutely incredible, and it removes wrinkles effortlessly, even on heavy fabrics, linen, and dress shirts. The stainless-steel soleplate glides smoothly and evenly without sticking or snagging. What really impressed me is how professional the results look — crisp, clean, and sharp every single time. It heats up quickly, delivers powerful steam consistently, and feels durable and high-quality in your hands. You can truly tell this iron was built to last! If you want an iron that performs like commercial-grade equipment while still being easy to use at home, this is it. Worth every penny!

Reliable steam and heat and very stable
Replaced my 40 year old Rowenta. A bit heavier. No leaks and a far better spray. Stays upright on a stable base. Much improved product.

Not the same as it used to be
I owned the same model for 10 years (the picture is of the old one). It worked fine. Only the water cap hinge broke early on. Otherwise, I had no issues with it. Recently, it started overheating, and I decided it was time to get a new iron. I bought the same model (Rowenta steam force). It looks similar, but it's much lighter, and the surface is not super smooth, so it doesn't glide as easily. And it did not feel as effective as the old one. For the money you pay, I do not think it's worth it. I'm returning it.

I likmmy Rowenta iron.
Rowenta irons are the best iron available. I own more than one. They are not too heavy and I enjoy using them. They are beautiful and I don’t mind ironing with my Rowenta.

Updated Review ~ Iron is JUNK!
UPDATE: I really blew it on this review, should have given it more time. I HATE this iron!! I have had it barely six months, and right out of the box it worked great. But six months in, I am throwing it in the trash to vow never to buy another Rowenta iron. The iron sits in my linen closet, has never been dropped, and here are the problems. It not only spits water all over the clothes, you can see by the photos. But it literally dumps water on the clothes. If I turn the steam off, the iron cools down and doesn't stay hot enough to iron. So BEWARE, it may work great out of the box, but give it time. I am purchasing a different brand, and won't even donate this one. I don't want anyone else to feel the same frustration, so in the trash it goes. This is my 3rd Rowenta Iron, and I love them. Yes, they are a bit heavier than other irons, but I prefer that. Some have said the water reservoir is small, I haven't noticed that. The iron heats quickly, steams well, and is heavy enough that I don't have to press down to get a nice clean garment. The water reservoir is fine, if I have a lot to iron I may have to refill it. But it isn't leaking, or spitting water, and I am very happy with this Rowenta iron.

Love Rowenta Irons But....
I’ve been a loyal Rowenta Steam Iron user for over three decades. I own one of the older models that still works, but it lacks the heating and steam capabilities of the newer ones. All these irons were manufactured in Germany, and I never had any issues during the 30 years I owned them. The last one DW9220 only last three years as it started leaking or more completely soaking my ironing board and floor. I had to iron dry with a spray bottle. First bad experience. I probably have only bought before this one, four Rowenta Irons. One just because it was a Professional version on sale. The Rowenta Steam Force Iron I purchased was used or tried out. (Was this an Amazon issue?) I resolved that issue. However, I noticed that it’s now made internationally and doesn’t seem to meet Germany’s standards for Rowenta. The heat dial is difficult to read and use. The dial doesn't turn easily or seem to set where you need it. Nor does it heat up quickly at all. Using the wrinkles feature is awkward when using steam or spray on top of the iron because the dial is just underneath. You have to hold the iron further back or different. I do appreciate the heavier weight, but it’s not too heavy. It glides smoothly, making ironing easier. The model I purchased DW9440, which it states has a digital display, but it actually has a dial underneath. I can't speak to leakage, yet. As with the Rowenta DW9220 it worked great for approximately two and half years until it began to leak water onto clothes. Then, began to poor water out the end of cord and through the iron. So I will hold on to hopeI’ll hold on to the hope that this Rowenta Steam Force won’t leak. (For those experiencing leaks, please refer to the instructions.) I know it sounds silly, but there’s a correct way to use the steam button. Value now is much cheaper for what I paid in October, 2025. Rowenta used to be a great company that stood behind their products. Make sure to registered your Iron.

Worth the price!
This iron was just what I needed/wanted. Does not drip water on any setting. Easy to use. Results are great. A bit pricey but well worth it!

Plancha
Es un poco pesada, pero se compensa por mucho con la facilidad para planchar por la gran cantidad de vapor que emite. Excelente producto

Great iron for a sewer!
I'm super happy with this purchase!!!! I had to replace my very old reliable Shark iron that died. Before purchasing this one I purchased and returned many different irons (brands like Singer, Shark, Rowenta and two no name brands) all of them did not get hot enough. I do a lot of sewing and quilting so heat is very important for pressing seams and getting crisp lines. It gets super hot and has a nice plate to keep clean. Steam function is nice too, but I don't need it very often with this iron because the iron gets super hot. The cord is not as long as I would like but its manageable. Hoping this one lasts.

Incompatible for UK .
Clear instructions were not there that we can use in UK. Since the plug 🔌 is different from UK . Tried with compatible adapter, works for 10 -15 mins and goes off looking for the right cable for UK it would be great if the seller can suggest.
