Heavy duty and heavy.
The tool appears to be well made and durable. It is heavy but does the job.

Solid little machine for the price
First, the "watt" rating is wildly inaccurate. I don't know what it is, but it runs on a very normal 120v outlet rated for 15 amps. That said, I got it, and it was solid. Everything packed up as it should, no oil leaks in the case. I did stand it up to review the oil level, and I didn't notice anything. Upon reading, it clearly says it is good for the first 20 hours or so, so I'm going with that. Got the bit in, and went to town on some 24" diameter pole footings. Stupid things are massive. While not fast, it worked exactly as good as I thought it would for the price I paid. I might update again after a few dozen hours of use, but for day 1, it went quite well and would recommend. It wore me out quick. I'm a big guy, but hefting around 50lbs or so of weight is not my norm. I mostly let the weight of it do the breaking, but even just the repositioning was a solid effort (in 95F weather at max humidity). Recap: Solid price, solid little machine.

Works Great! As good or better than the rentals.
Wow! I am finally able to break up the bolders sticking up on my lawn making mowing difficult. I only had this for 2 days and I have broken up 6 huge ledge rocks petruding on my lawn. I also broke up old cement pilings in my barn. I bought it to actually break up asphalt on my driveway to access a broken drain pipe, I didn’t think it would also work on ledge. It came well packaged in a nice heavy duty plastic carrying case. My only complaint is with the directions and mixed instructions on the oil that came with it. The write up on amazon says it comes prefilled with oil, but at the bottom of the machine is a label that says must fill with oil before 1st use. I didn’t see any oil in the chamber so I filled it with the oil that came in the tube to about 1/3. The directions do not give specific directions on how much oil, it may have said 60Gs but now sure how to measure. Overall I am happy with the purchase, - it gets a little hot after repeated use but never stopped working. I only have about 10 more boulders to break up and I am confident this machine will survive.

bigger is better
Great tool for a great price. I don't know why anyone would buy the smaller wattage versions when this bigger one is priced the same or cheaper :) Granted, an American outlet cannot provide more than 1500W but this thing creates a lot of impact and maybe they measure the joules of each impact, who knows how it got to 3500Watts! It is super heavy and it tore up a 16 inch concrete beam in the ground very quickly. It took 2 days of my older lighter SDS+ hammer drill to chip the top of the beam (before it overheated and died) and then it took 3 hours with this 3500W tool to destroy the whole thing into chunks the size of tennis balls. The weight makes it less easy to use but of course when dealing with concrete the more weight the better. The oil only went down by a dozen drops in 3 hours of use, the same drops used to lubricate the hammer socket. There is no leak, just some small seepage into the socket there which I am thinking is part of the normal operation. This was an awesome purchase.

Probably good value for the money.
Seems like a decent tool, have tried it out but not into bulk of job that it was purchased for. Bits were hard to insert, had to lubricate and tap in with hammer. Decent carrying case

Used by professionals
I originally bought this to dig out the foundation of my house to replace a cracked sewer line. Eventually, I just hired some professionals to do it, rather than attempt it myself. I already had the tool, so I let the pros take a shot with it, and they think it kicked butt to they point they wanted to buy it off me. Apparently, it did a better job breaking up concrete than any of the tools they brought with them, and for the price, it can't be beat. If I ever have a future concrete job, this is what I'll be looking into again.

Cheaper than renting and really powerful
I was on the fence about getting this; I already have a name brand SDS max drill so I thought this wouldn't be much better... I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was wrong; this thing is a beast, it tore through a 4-6" thick concrete path with ease, I took my time and still did around 32 sq ft in about 3 hours. I'm glad I read the reviews before hand so I knew it needed the oil adding because in the manual that bit isn't explained until the end. Mine did come with a tube of oil so I just needed to add it. That said, the manual is pretty decent and easy to follow. As others have said, the case isn't really going to stand up to being dragged around but it's nice for storage. In my area, this worked out cheaper than renting one for a few days, so I was skeptical but I'm really impressed with it.

Great value
For the price and size this is great for DIY projects, but I wouldn’t necessarily use this in any professional setting other than handyman work. It gets the job done and cost the same as renting one.
