The Halograph Automatic is a living time machine. You are the power source. The new limited edition Halograph Automatic features "halo" hands that display the time in an entirely new way. The Halograph is super easy to read, as the Halo Hands float over the four, dimensional, hemicycle time display arcs, they encircling the numbers for the time. The inner arcs display the hours, the outer arcs displays the minutes. It doesn't need batteries or updates to do its work while summoning compliments and sparking conversation everywhere you go. All it needs is you! The Halograph Automatic lives on mechanical energy. It's not an electronic gadget: it's a mechanical heirloom. Like the chambers of a beating mechanical heart, the twin balance wheels pump life into this complex time machine. Seeing the action of a living machine on your wrist gives a thrill no electronic gadget can. A smartwatch starts to die as soon as its circuitry is activated, and its functional obsolescence starts as soon as it leaves the assembly line. A mechanical watch will never be obsolete. It will always connect you in a meaningful way with this moment in time. With the Halograph Automatic, we think we've designed a v1.0 that 'nailed it' the first time, and will be as exceptional in form and function in hundreds of years as it is now.

revision 1: still looks cool BUT doesn't keep time to save your life
Cool looking watch, it doesn't keep time as well as comparably prices Swiss made watches. Doesn't matter if it's being worn or in the watch winder.

The hands fell off. Difficult to tell time. Looks good. I only wore it a few times since purchase.

Nice watch.
This is a nice watch. The only drawback in my opinion is you need to have decent light to read the time. Since there are no traditional hands, one has to be able to see the numbers. It would be interesting if the manufacturer were able to apply luminous material to the halo's and cardinal positions. Watch is on the heavy side and pretty thick but it is an automatic so it's expected. I've had the watch for four days. It keeps good time so far. I'm happy with the purchase.

Very attractive and unique timepiece lacking in some details.
Overall this is a very unique piece of jewelry that will definitely generate curiosity and compliments, from those who know what they are looking at. The combination of the halo hands, authorial manner of reading time, and dommed crystal, while not pure sapphire, are extremly attractive. And to a budding watch geek like me just sexy as hell.IMHO generally the watch is well done but lacks attention to details, mainly choice of movement, presentation, and the strap.I'm a novice watch collector with just over 20 timepieces ranging from super cheap quartz to mid-higher end Swiss made automatics that are certified chronometers, some with multiple complications. I've owned my automatic Halograph a few days now (purchased directly from manufacturer not Amazon) and find it does seem to be keeping good time so far although I haven't benchmarked it, yet.The Chinese S-01 movement is a bit "rough" around the edges for instance one can definitely hear the automatic winder rattling around in there vs smooth operation found in other movements. It seems to me there are some really good Japanese and certainly German movements that could have suited this watch well while not jacking up the price too much? Additionally there is a hollow sound indicative of poor movement placement / packaging inside the case which tells me this watch likely won't stand up well at all to "shocks". So best not to wear too often or drop, like ever.I guess my major complaints are the strap and box presentation. I purchased Model 3021 and it came with a saddle colored strap that honestly to me appears and feels to be completely fake leather that with just a few days of wear is already showing that noticeable 'fake pleather' look. And the box is just a total bad show, very very cheaply done and frankly a disappointment.I certainly applaud Xeric for this effort and look forward to their next venture. Hopefully those reading this review find it helpful with their decisioning process. If I had to do it again I would definitely purchase this watch.

They're interesting for sure, but the first one I ordered had a malfunction, and the second one I ordered had the 'second hand' in the center fall off. They fixed it and sent it back and two days later the dome shattered, not resulting from rough treatment, just being on a hard surface a vibration was enough to shatter it. These are cheaply made in my opinion and I just can't bring myself to keep paying for them

It won't last 2 days like my Rolex Deep-sea Sea dweller
Clearly all of the other reviewers save the first one are idiots. Obviously you don't knock the glass of a watch against a surface. Practically any watch glass could break the more curvature on the glass. Yes the watch stores a 36 hour reserve, that's it. It states that. It won't last 2 days like my Rolex Deep-sea Sea dweller. It doesnt have the movement quality. The leather is good quality Italian. Treat it as such. Also, if you can't read the time on this watch, maybe you should go back to elementary school.

A very interesting timepiece
It's awesome looking and you'll get a lot of comments. Keeps good time although it does seem to run down pretty quick after you take it off. Nearly impossible to read the time on. It still takes me about 10 seconds of staring at it to decipher the actual time. I actually have to kind of know what time it is already to figure it out. But a very nice piece of unusual jewelry.
