Brilliant!!
OMG this tool is amazing!! Easy to assemble, very sturdy and the saw itself is very sharp and cuts through smaller branches etc with ease. The extending pole is great, makes getting to those higher to reach branches so easy. The handle is a nice shape and easy to grip.

Surprisingly Good.
I am a professional user and I was sceptical when purchasing this item but have been pleasantly surprised with it's quality. I bought it specifically for it's modular handle. I find these to be easier and safer to use in restricted spaces (I use these whilst tree climbing quite often) than the often more expensive telescopic handles which even when fully collapsed are often around 2m long + the blade length. Having the ability to choose the overall length in increments of 50cm is very useful. The blade itself is good. it's stiffer than some and I prefer this. It's not spectacular but as long as it's used to cut green wood primarily, it should hold it's edge for a good while. What could make this better? A cover for the blade would be great. I'd happily pay more for that. As it is, I'll have to improvise one or keep it separate from the disassembled handle. I personally prefer a blade without the "hook" at the tip. I appreciate this has a use to stop the blade from pulling out of the cut but i find it frustrating in dense growth to get into position. A hook on the base of the blade would be better. When I say "hook" I'm using this to hang the whole tool in a nearby branch whilst I climb..So.. a surprised four out of five for this baring in mind it's price.

Time to trim the willow tree!
Sturdy handle and well-fitting poles that are fairly lightweight. The blade is extremely sharp and cuts really well through the 2" to 3" branches of my willow tree. The saw blade became stuck at one point when I started cutting a horizontal branch from the bottom. As the cut went halfway through the weight of the branch trapped the blade in the cut. I had to do then what I was trying to avoid and climb up to free it. Lesson learned and I cut down from the top in the rest of the branches . I think this purchase was a very worthwhile one. A local tree surgeon quoted nearly £400 for the work I did in a couple of hours with this saw. The hardest part was cutting all the branches down to size to fit in the back of the car.

Does the job.
First use today. The only negative on this product is the supplied tools. The screwdriver end should be on the short side of the 90 degree bend, leaving a longer lever to hold while tightening the two locking nuts.It is very portable due to the screw together parts. It is very solid once you have screwed the poles together. There is zero movement in the joints. The blade is very sharp. At first I thought the blade's flexibility would be a downside but it actually assists in gaining access to densley packed branches. It took a short while to get used to a blade designed to cut as you pull. A storage bag would have been a nice addition and a plastic blade guard. I can certainly recommend this tool.

Need your tool box to fit properly
The blade attaches with two small nuts and bolts . It comes with a small spanner and mini screw driver to attach but neither do the job as it’s really loose so you basically need to have to reach for tool box to fit properly . As others describe while it’s sharp it’s very flexible and therefore quite hard to cut when using full extension . Tbh I can’t see me using it much

Good, simple kit
Very happy with this. Came quickly, assembled easily and made short work of the offending branch. The stops each end of the blade make sawing easy. Only comment is, the little tools provided to bolt on the blade are a helpful bonus only. They do it, but next time I'll use my own tools! Highly recommended though
