Titiz Double Crumb Cleaning Brush, Red & Green, Plastic & Nylon Bristles, Soft, With Handle

Okay, these things are impossible to find here in the states, yet very common in any kitchen in Europe. My mother-in-law had a few relic crumbers from her days in France decades ago, and she has a knack for breaking and losing parts that render them inoperable (usually the wheels end up in the trash because she isn't wearing her glasses and doesn't realize it. For the life of me I cannot figure out why she is so stubbornly opposed to wearing her glasses). This one is inexpensive and works great. The wheels move freely and neatly dust up any debris from her deliciously prepared dinners, leaving the table cloth in pristine condition. She is still amazed about the things one can find so easily and quickly on the internet; I'm fairly certain she visited every housewares store in Chicago in vain looking for one of these. When she mentioned she was going to ask her sister to buy one in Spain and ship it to her, I knew I had to intervene immediately. Thank god for Amazon!

The original product made by Fuller Brush Company was somewhat smaller. More fitted to a woman's hand size. Thus is a little unwieldy. I bought 3 of them to give as gifts, and one broke pretty quickly. It is cheaply made. On the positive side, it does the job.

I use this on a frequently used table that generally has a tablecloth and place mats on it. It certainly does the trick to clean off stray crumbs, etc. on the tablecloth. It is a little big for the palm of my hand and therefore somewhat clumsy but it's more than adequate and does the job.

This works great! I use it as a carpet sweep to quickly clean up small messes at work. The brushes pick up nicely and fit securely in the case - AND THEY STAY IN THE CASE! Good design improvement. I used to have a single brush type that was a real bother. Whenever I opened it up to empty it, the pieces that held the brush in place would come off. When I lost them, the brush wouldn't pick up. Not so with this design. The brushes stay in place. VERY STURDY for the money if you've tried and compared like I have.

Have a Fuller Brush model crumb sweeper and wanted one for our summer home. This one was less expensive, is a bit larger (so takes fewer sweeps to do the job) and performs fantastically. One pass gathers all the crumbs and table debris into the holding compartment (Fuller often takes multiple times to do this). Top comes off easily to dump out the crumbs. I feel that I made an excellent choice :) and highly recommend this item.

It's okay on big crumbs on the tablecloth, but small crumbs don't get in the saving recepticle and end up being brushed onto to floor. There is a trick to using this as I have found that the tablecloth must be held taught and you have to brush very gently and only in one direction.

For light crumb-sweeping duties, this works fine. One slight caveat - when brushing a thin and lightweight tablecloth, the sweeper will keep pulling a wrinkle of cloth up inside and coming to a sudden stop, which is a bit annoying, but if you hold the cloth taut or leave some tablemats in place while sweeping it's less of an issue. It doesn't happen with a heavier cloth. Ours came in a foul pink colour, but you may be more lucky.

Leider habe ich eine völlig andere Bürste/Tischkehrer wie bestellt bekommen. Bestellt wurde eine Bürste mit Handgriff und gekommen ist eine ohne Griff. Es stand zwar, dass die Farben unterschiedlich sein können, aber dass es ein ganz anderes Modell sein kann davon las ich nichts. :-(
