A great kitchen tool that works
Had this for 3 years now and really like and use it almost daily for something. My wife has Alzheimer's and I wanted something she couldn't turn on and hurt herself or cause damage. So when I built our in-law suite in my son's basement our kitchen has what I call a safe kitchen. We started out with a smaller toaster oven. When I found and purchased this, didn't realize it at the time, but it's been one of my best purchases for our kitchen. It works well, making something from scratch or reheating pizza. Before my wife's diagnosis she was the cook. So had to learn fast. This, along with our crock pot, have been a huge help since my goal was to make healthy meals. Since my oven has a lot of use, thought I would check to make sure I could buy another one if this one ever has an issue that would make me want to replace it. So guess I answered a basic question I believe is important, would I buy it again, and I sure would.

Good substitute when your big oven dies
I am so glad that these types of air fryer ovens exist because my big dual fan convertible convection oven's fans make horrible noise & I can't turn the fans off completely -- & I can't afford the upfront repairman fee to get him to look at it or the parts with tariffs (I am in a more rural area & apparently there's only one guy who works on the brand I have & I have multiple appliances that need repair). Thankfully, Amazon, payment plans & Emeril Legasse Air Fryer Ovens exist! I wanted to get an appliance that worked similarly to my big oven & was big enough to bake, roast, etc. It's obviously smaller than my big oven, but it's much more versatile than the small drawer/basket type of air fryer. I have never used an air fryer or toaster oven, so I did a bit of reading & comparing before I purchased & of course, measured my counter spaces to make sure I could use it in my kitchen. I also purchased a silicone counter protector mat & some extra accessories before I started using it. I have had it for almost a month now & really do like it. I was so excited to make something in an oven after a couple weeks of stovetop meals only. It is very easy to use, but keep in mind that this air fryer oven isn't exactly the same as a full size convection oven. Read the instructions. The Dual Zone does have a high heat level inside & the outside does get hot on all sides. Protect your countertop, wall & the underside of any cabinets above it. Don't push it up against the wall or put it in an enclosed space. The oven has quite a few different settings & you can adjust the temperature & timer on them. The functionality of the air fryer is great, as are the other settings I have used so far. I haven't used all of the features or baked/roasted everything I normally make yet, but I have seen excellent results in the items I have made so far. The air fryer works extremely well. I don't like frozen fries baked in a standard oven or my big convection oven (only fried in oil), but this air fryer does a great job! I use the basket with a pan with a silicone baking mat in a slot under it to catch any oil drips. I prefer the crispy fast food fries, but my son has also had a variety of other fry shapes & onion rings come out crispy too. The frozen fish didn't have any holes in the batter to drain excess moisture, so they did get mushy inside on air fry, so I will try bake next time or poke holes in the batter (that happens in my big convection oven sometimes too. The rising crust frozen pizza even rose in the middle when using the pizza setting! My big oven rarely gets the crust to actually rise, let alone in the middle. I am not a frozen pizza fan because the middle doesn't like to bake right, but the Dual Zone did an excellent job! I used a metal pizza pan - I haven't tried a pizza stone yet. I used the bake setting & a pizza pan with crisper holes to heat up crunchy hard shells for tacos several times & they were great too. I ordered a new 9x13" pan for brownies & to roast meat since my old pans are a little bit too big - I am sure they will turn out great too (I will update if they don't). I usually do a lot of foil packet baking, but haven't tried it yet - I did verify that parchment & foil packet baking is ok as long as they don't touch any heat elements. I usually make bone-in chicken thighs in a covered casserole in my big oven, but haven't tried it yet in the Dual Zone. I did confirm that you can use casserole dishes, stoneware, cast iron, etc (I watched several of Emeril's shopping network videos to get information right from the source). My stoneware & glass covered casserole dishes are 25+ years old, so I am a little worried about the hotter heat but will eventually use them as cooler weather sets in. I chose the Dual Zone option because my big convection oven is convertible from one big oven to two smaller ovens with dual controls & I like the option of being able to put in the divjder & use different settings for each zone. I haven't used the dual zone feature yet, but will probably use it often as I use my divider in the big oven 90% of the time. The Emeril Legasse Dual Zone Air Fryer Oven is a nice looking appliance - a bit bigger than some countertop appliances, but that's what I was specifically looking for. It has a good size interior & will accommodate pans up to the 14" x11.5" or so interior size. Mine came with the rotisserie set & removing tool, the divider, two small nonstick trays, two small baskets, a small grill pan, a large nonstick tray, a large rack, instructions & a cookbook. You can buy accessories from the Emeril Legasse website or on Amazon. I did buy some extra pans, racks & baskets that are specifically designed for the Emeril Legasse Dual Zone 360 25 quart Air Fryer Oven too --- make sure any accessories you buy are specifically designed for the Dual Zone 25 quart oven, the other Emeril French Door oven or his other designs aren't the same size. I like to use silicone baking mats, so I bought a few black ones in the accessories that are rigid initially but will soften with use/washing & I got a roll of the silicone liner to cut to size/shape that's got a bit of a sticky grip to hold it in place - I would recommend a darker color because my white ones are great but the onion ring juices did stain the white surface a little (I don't care about the stain, but some might). I have used liners in the crumb tray & in a pan under the basket - I want to keep the inside as clean as possible. I also had to buy a straight sided 9x13" cake pan because my old ones have rims/handles that make them too big. I do have many old pans/baking dishes that do fit inside the Dual Zone. Originally, I wanted a countertop oven that all of my old pans would fit in & that was basically a small convection oven - price changed my mind, but I am glad because I do like the Emeril Legasse Dual Zone 360 Air Fryer Oven. I have ordered some self adhesive heat shield to put under my upper wood cabinets because the back oven vents aim upwards & the underside, inside bottom & inside (if the door is shut) do get quite hot when the oven is on. I started with the Dual Zone next to my stove where the upper cabinets are lower - I will move it to the other side of the kitchen to the upper cabinets that are higher after rearranging & installing the heat shield. I probably won't need the heat shield as much when the upper cabinets are at over the recommended 6 inch clearance, but I want to be safe with thr wooden cabinets. I had hoped to put it on a small table/cart without cabinets over it, but my plugin there is only 2-prong & it needs the grounding prong. I don't have an extension cord that's rated for the oven & the cord is short to help prevent accidents, so make sure you have a nearby plug-in for placement. I didn't think about the upper cabinets before I started using it, but it's a fairly easy & inexpensive fix. Make sure you burn off any manufacturing residue before you use the oven. Set the oven for 400°F for 15 minutes with nothing inside (except the empty crumb tray), then let it cool completely. It's ready to use after that. Also, preheat the pans/baskets/racks according to the manufacturer instructions. The accessories I bought specified to preheat the Air Fryer Oven to 300°F for 5 minutes, put in the pans/racks/baskets in for 10 minutes. Overall, I am glad I chose the Emeril Legasse Dual Zone 360 25 Quart Air Fryer Oven. I have used it every day (sometimes multiple times a day) since I opened it. I didn't notice how much I used my big oven until I couldn't turn it on. The Dual Zone is definitely the right choice for my needs.

It's not an easy out of the box use it appliance, but it is worth what I paid
It is a nice air/oven, and it has separate operations for oven, air fryer, rotisserie grill. This one was cheaper because it was considered damaged, but it came in perfect shape, not a scratch, everything works. This oven is not intuitive to use. Even reading all directions, I found it difficult to set temperatures, to set oven temps to say 350 instead of 375 and had burned cookies. It is a good size for my small 1 bedroom apt with barely big enough kitchen. Cleaning can be difficult if you have pain in shoulders like I do, but it's doable depending on what you are cooking. The messier or stickier the longer it takes to clean and should be cleaned as soon as possible after cool down. I haven't used it yet for long cooking times but for 10 to 30 minutes the outside doesn't get too hot. Haven't used air fryer but toast comes out just right crispness, and for some odd reason it tastes better than from a toaster. If I had realized how hard it would be use the settings would I have bought it? I've debated returning it, but I made the best sirloin steak I've ever made, even with my daughter and I struggling with time and temperatures, I'm 80 so I called her for help. It makes a difference to have a grill at eye level. You won't fit a regular 9x13 cake pan in it, not if it has little ends on it for sure. Back issues with bending made me buy it. I prefer baking to other ways of cooking. A couple inches taller would have been nice as well as roomier, but I have an open island counter. I'm still learning but I like it and love the French doors. So much easier to for putting things in and out.

Quality of the item and efficiency
I've used this oven for about 1 week it by far is the best small appliance and toaster convection oven I've had and I been through many my only complaint is I wish it was 3 in larger in both directions length and height interior so you can fit comfortably 9x13 pans other than that I am sold 100% great product

Omgosh this thing does EVERYthing!!!
Our Black & Decker convection toaster oven finally lost its thermostat--after 12 years of near constant use--and so we saw this on sale and snatched it up! It does so much I don't even know what all it will do well, but the ease of switching from dual ovens (which synchronize their cooking times, if you choose), to one large oven,, plus the "shake" feature, just omgosh we find excuses to use this oven EVERY day! And you know Subway sandwiches that cook open-faced and warm, crisp the bread while heating the meat, melting cheese? GAME CHANGER! It's super duper fast, and everything just tastes so fresh and another level delicious 👏🏻😋 The interior light is nice and super bright so you may view your food without opening the door(s). Clean-up has, thus far, has been a breeze...though I must profess, I have not cooked a rotisserie chicken, and have been afraid to broil a steak (because what beats hickory smoking on the Weber BBQ?). I like a nice crispy exterior to our steaks, with the fat crispy also (just for a tiny taste and for effect)...once I feel more confident, I shall give that feature a try...if phenomenal, I shall return to update my review. Wait!??! You're still reading??? Just buy it, you won't be disappointed!!! Emeril Lagasse put a TON of features in this dual 360 XL Oven. I mean this product was very thoroughly designed and everything, every bell and whistle has a purpose and it will the me months and months to try all its features 😋👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💗☮ One con is that it should have "bundling" of extra trays, baskets, etc, offered when purchasing. You cannot double up different foods with the included trays, baskets...for this price, it should come with a few more cookware items.

They need to work the kinks out
I want to love this Dual Zone Air Fryer. I really do. The concept is awesome and I would actually pay more for a reliable, safe product. Whats wrong: 1st unit - fan just came on all hours of the day and night when unit was not operating. (after some research this is a common problem apparently so they know about it but don't fix it) I contacted their customer service and was told to unplug it and not use it any more. I was old someone from the warranty department would contact me within two business days. Well 4 business days later they finally did. But before that happened I contacted Amazon, returned the unit and they shipped a new unit. Unit #2. Well at least the fan does not come on when not in use, but when in use the fan makes the most awful noise. First unit fan did not sound like this. At least the fan was relatively quiet. Both units get extremely hot on the outside. I have never had a countertop appliance get so hot that it will actually blister you from a slight touch. (Manufacturer is also aware of this issue) So I can't really recommend this to anyone with small children that might reach up and touch the glass doors or the metal around the doors. Follow the manufacturers directions on clearances needed due to how hot this unit gets outside. Is it worth what it cost - not in my opinion. If Microwaves, toaster ovens and other small appliance manufacturers can produce a product that does not get this hot outside and whose fans don't run when not in use or make horrible noises and then sell those products for less than half the price of this one - I don't understand why this product is so shoddily made and has so many issues. Do your research before hitting that buy now button. So far I am 2 units with problems. Can't really believe that Lagasse lets his name be used on this item.

So much better then the basket versions of air fryers
So much more versatile then the drawer models. Gave my Ninja 10qt away. Rotisserie is fantastic, the 2 section or 1 big one, excellent. One small disappointment is no big wire rack for use with big single use. You only get two small wire racks for the 2 sides. Bought large wired rack that fit on the large pan supplied Rotisserie holder bit flimsy as roast or chicken hard to hold with one hand. Still usable though. Better and cleaner then having to reach in to get food out. With a wireless thermometer meat, and chicken perfect every time. Even when using rotisserie. Insert get notification when right temperature go get ready to serve. Perfect every time. All the bells and whistles. Use almost every day now. Not like the basket type. Easier to clean (hint use tinfoil) Recommend and would buy again. P.S. Works fantastic with solar generator during power failures when oven is out. Grill, broil, bake.

Works great with lots of options
Bought this for my dad and he loves it! Took him a while to figure it out but now he cooks in it all the time. He love how you can cook 2 things at the same time. It has a lot of room. He has been using it for 6 months already and no issues. Great quality as well.
