Vetell Leo Large Leather Men's Travel Toiletry and Shaving Case Bag with Upper and Lower Zippered Compartments, 3 Interior Loops and Carrying Handles

I travel a few times a month for business and since I received this last Friday I thought that I would put the bag through its paces on a recent hop to Tampa. First, the quality is stunning. I am used to a dopp kit (toiletry bag) being an 'oh by the way' kind of product for men - meaning, good enough is good enough. I'm at a point in life where throwing a toothbrush in a bag just doesn't cut it anymore. I was looking for something that was sturdy, looked good (leather) and had some room. The bag is plenty big. Shaving cream, razor, toothpaste... the essentials, all fit with a great deal of room to spare. This bag is amazing given the extra compartments. My last bag was more functional - smaller and had just one area to put your items. This has a bottom section for separating maybe things that get wet like shampoo or soap bottles from other things that you want to keep dry. If I had one small mark against it, the bag may be a bit too big if you are a super light 'micro traveler'. But, again, I'm at a point where I am more concerned with form, fit and function over just getting my stuff from point A to point B. The Vetelli leather bag fits the bill quite nicely and I am pleased with the purchase.

Whether something is acceptable or not based on it's size, is a matter of personal preference and has nothing to do with the quality of the build and the functionality of the product. So my rating is based upon the build quality and functionality of the bag. Still it's important to know if something is the right size for you before you buy it, esp. without being able to physically see it in the real world first. Before I made the decision to purchase this bag, I checked the measurements with a ruler and compared those to the existing bag I wanted to replace and that gave me some idea about it's size and I realized that it was really big. I liked the numerous zippered compartments and the lifetime warranty that it comes with, so I decided go ahead and buy it. When the bag arrived, the one drawback that I saw due to it's large size, is that I don't think that it would be convenient to take on a plane in a carry-on bag or fitting it in a small gym bag. But I decided to keep it and I'm getting used to the size the more I use it. The plus side of this large bag, is that there is more than enough room in the main compartment, or even in the bottom compartment to store an electric shaver and have plenty of space still available to store and easily find anything else you might want to carry. Compared to most men's shaving kit / dopp bags, it's really well made and has more zippered compartments, giving me the ability to organize my kit in an intelligent manner that I didn't have before. Because someone else here vehemently complained about the use of magnetic clasps that hold down the left and right "ears" or loops of the main zipper, I would also like to address that aspect of the design. Yes, the magnets are not as strong as a snap and that might have been a better design. I assume that one reason for using a magnetic clasp, is that a snap can't be guaranteed to last a lifetime and a magnet can. Testing it's strength out, I was able to hang the bag from a hook and the magnets held the loop together. But then I don't have a lot of weight in the bag and I don't know if the additional weight of an electric shaver along with a bottle of cologne, deodorant, etc. would pull the magnetic clasp apart. You can easily carry the bag by the loops, because your hand will fit over the clasps as it grabs it and keep the loop together anyway. I my opinion, I don't think that the clasps are that much of an issue that they necessarily detract from the other features of the bag.

Excellent quality, tons of room, very classy, soft and attractive leather. The only negative is that the magnetic snaps on the handles do not stay when you snap them, sometimes causing you to drop it because the snaps magnet apparently isn't strong enough. If replaced with a traditional snap this would be perfect. It's not a deal breaker, just be aware that the handles just won't stay snapped.

Everything about this bag seems top grade. The leather is supple and great looking, the bag appears superior in looks and quality, inside and out. The lining is a beautiful gold color, and looks and feels luxurious. Basically everything about this bag says luxury and quality. From a practical sense the compartments are well laid out, in both the top and bottom portions. The lower portion has an open end where you can carry a larger item or items, and a set of loops to secure smaller items on the other end. The top section has a nice opening dimension, open center that will accommodate multiple items, and pockets on the sides for smaller items. As a travel bag I don't think you could do any better than this. The bag is fantastic looking, as well as practical. I would rate this bag as a luxury item, at a great price point. If you're looking for a travel bag this is a first class choice from any angle. Highly recommended.

This toiletry bag is beautiful and appears very well made. I often worry that an item will not look at nice as in photos. In this case, it is every bit as elegant and luxurious as it appears in the photos, perhaps even more so. This item costs more than many other toiletry bags, but it is well worth the extra cost for those who appreciate beautiful products. I also love the practical design, with several zippered pockets, two transparent and one concealing, upper and lower compartments, and magnetic snaps on the side straps. I recommend this item for anyone interested in a high-quality and/or luxurious toiletry bag at an attractive price point. I VERY rarely write a product review (maybe about once every several years). I am so impressed with this product that I was moved out of hibernation to encourage others to consider this item also.

Holds a lot of stuff. Allowed me to consolidate 2 dop kits. Quality material and workmanship. Good zipper. Would have preferred larger accordion style wide opening rather than straight line zipper. But not a deal breaker.

Gerade ausgepackt! Der Kulturbeutel macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck! Er ist komplett aus vegan und somit aus Kunstleder. Ich finde das super, gerade für den Nassbereich eignet sich Echtleder nicht, da es durch Feuchtigkeit Flecken bekommt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf und kann den Kulturbeutel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wow quite an impression when I pulled this beautiful travel bag from its dust cover; it reminded me of the many high end designer handbags my sister in law is collecting! Firstly the synthetic leather looks and feels real and is obvious that the heavy duty clasps and zips will mean I’ll be using this bag for years to come. The large size and easy wide opening access is very practical and I like the various zipped pockets and straps so that all items such as aerosols and other washing and shaving equipment can be stored neatly and securely for easy access. The lining is very attractive and looks durable as well. I particularly like that the base is its own compartment which opens out flat to present your toiletry items for easy selection and repacking. Overall very pleased with the quality and design of the Vitelli toilet bag and look forward to using it on my next trip!

Wow! Very impressed. Opened the package and the plastic wrap to find the travel bag comes with its own drawstring bag. Wasn't expecting that. This was for me but if you're buying as a gift I that's a really nice tough. Took it out and I could tell right away that it was really well thought out and made. Looks like it's going to stand up well to regular use. I was after something with a bit more 'structure' to it than my previous bag. This fits the bill perfectly. There's tons of room in the top main compartment which has really sturdy zips. Then there's the separate zipped compartment in the base with its own separate organizers. That's great for smaller items. I like the way the top zips extend past the ends of the bag and clasp together to form a carry handle. Cool idea. Only just started using it but I'm sure this is going to work great for years. Well thought out. Great quality materials. Definitely recommended!
