Update: I washed it once. It still smelled like fish. Washed it a second time and got rid of a lot but not ALL off the smell. I let it hang to dry and air out. After a week, I felt like it stopped smelling but it was pretty wrinkly so I turned it inside out and that darn fish smell was coming out of the material again. I think I’ll wear this when out with the girls but not when I’m out with the BF. I’d be worried about him leaning in tooo close and getting a whiff of fish. Never had I put so much work into an Amazon purchase.Ordered this in black and blue. Blue is going back because the color looks cheap but the black is killer. I can’t believe this dress cost less than $33. Normally wear a size small and ordered in a size small. I’m 5’2 so it hits about mid calf. But I still think it looks really edgy and elegant at the same time. But people were NOT kidding. I usually do not have an issue with odor from clothing, but describing this as fishy smelling is completely spot on!! I actually tried on the dress and then ran out the house to spend the night with a friend. Came back two days later and I was wondering why my entire house smelled like plastic fish. And I realized it was coming from the dress. Obviously it needs to be washed before it can be worn.

I am 5’2” and 115 lbs and ordered the small. Loved the way it fit! Fun dress for a night out on the town. It did have a weird smell to it when I got it so I would recommend washing it before wearing it.

It’s a super comfortable and well sized faux leather dress. I was super excited about it, until I put it on and couldn’t figure out why it looked so weird. The seams are crooked. The top of the dress (on the tube part) is about 2 inches higher on one side (this isn’t the intended design). There is another seam on the right breast that comes across that is not on the other side. I can basically wear it in a dark place where someone wouldn’t notice. Not worth the effort to return as you have to contact the seller and they don’t respond when in China. Lesson learned to stick with Prime only for the return issue.I loved this so much, I want to order one more to see if it’s better, but then I’ll be out twice the money. 😩Update: this review was for the beige tube style dress. I just received it and the dress I’m reviewing in the picture is the same color but totally different style. The new one is a halter style. So frustrating!

The hemline is shorter than the photo it’s so short I had to wear it as a bustiers leather tube top but I love it I just can’t wear it as a dress

Excellent choice for a fancy fall Birthday dinner at the W Hotel for my friend. Great material, some stretch, good lining. A Line Mid length look.
