These have been a brilliant buy. We’ve got a toddler, so there’s no shortage of battery-powered toys in the house, and these have kept up without any fuss. They last well between charges, fit perfectly and seem to hold their charge properly, even after repeated use. I got a pack for myself and my partner ended up ordering more because they’ve been so reliable. Great value for money considering how many you get, and it’s a relief not having to constantly buy disposables. If you’ve got kids or just a lot of gadgets around the house, these are a solid investment. Recharge quickly, perform well, and save you money in the long run. Would definitely recommend.

The batteries look pretty decent, they also come in nice cardboard packaging which is environmentally friendly. No battery cases are supplied which can be handy for storing. A lot of other batteries come with cases but that better for environmental reasons I guess. I tested the charge and discharge curves and they look close to the rated 2800. 2700 is pretty close and my test may not be that accurate! There are so many batteries that I’ve bought and tested though that never come close to the claimed capacity. The internal resistance of the battery is also around what I would expect, all good so far. Testing in real devices they perform well enough in a number of different items but like most rechargeable 1.2v batteries, they won’t power higher voltage devices that need the full 1.5v oomph (so don’t buy these if you know you device requires that to operate). They did however power my sons remote control lightning McQueen car to the shops and back without any issues! Having said that they seem pretty well made and last a good amount of time. Longevity I haven’t tested as I’ve not had them long enough. The labelling is slick but fails to mention anywhere on it that it’s a NiMh type. Not that that really matters much, but was worth noting in case later down the line you can’t remember. Pros - close to rated capacity - decent performance - environmentally friendly packaging Cons - no mention of the battery chemistry - no battery cases supplied

Great product at a great price

Great value NiMH battery, based on my (very subjective) experience, outperforms name brands at a lower price point. I use these in two very different applications, and they do well in both - first application is an external flash for a camera, where they provide good recycle times (i.e. low internal resistance) and good life. The second application is for a smart lock, which has long idle times, punctuated by driving the lock motor at relatively high load. They last longer than competitor rechargeable batteries, achieving a life close to alkaline at a fraction of the price. I've got the Powerowl USB-C charger for 8 cells, and that appears to work well also. If you're looking for decent rechargeable batteries at a good price point, these are a good choice.

Used for just under 2 months and 2 of the batteries has error and won’t charge , same with my aa batteries I bought
