My wife heard me talking about needing a platform lift for quite a while since I've gotten older and lifting heavy things off the floor hurts more these days. So I scoured online sources for a deal on a used lift, but they were either too expensive, too far away and or overkill for our needs (typically full 5 gallon buckets). She happened onto this one on Black Friday at a very reasonable price, so after reading the reviews we ordered it. It arrived two days early. The packaging was very well done. Despite some damage to the box, there was no shipping damage to the lift. It is heavy, so you may need another person to help you move the box to get it to your assembly area or use a hand truck like I did. My initial impression when I opened the box was the welds all look very good, the fit and finish are excellent and overall quality rivals any of the big name commercial brands. I read the instructions prior to assembly and then followed them step by step. The instructions are very clear, well written and illustrated. Be sure and keep them since they also include maintenance and repair sections. I had it unpacked, put together and fully functional, by myself, in less than 45 minutes. It comes with a hex wrench for two of the bolts, but you'll need some metric wrenches for the rest of the threaded fasteners. The forks, platform and front wheel extensions assemble with pins and the crank handle folds, so it will be very east to break down for storage if space is limited. The brakes are foot pedal operated, easily accessible and lock the rear wheels hard, so there's no danger of it moving on you when you're loading or unloading. Lifting a full 6 gallon bucket (approx. 50 lbs.) off the floor to workbench height was almost effortless. If you have to cross a threshold or other irregularity in the floor, simply tip it back like a hand truck. The rear wheels are on ball bearings and it moves like a breeze. Even if we'd paid full retail price for this lift, it would've been worth every penny. I highly recommend this platform lift. I'm "only" leaving five stars because Amazon won't let me leave TEN!

I recently received my new lift cart, and after a few days, I had the opportunity to assemble it. The cart was delivered on a Friday, and we decided to put it together the following Monday. The instructions provided were quite clear, making the assembly process very straightforward and hassle-free. One of the first things I noticed about the lift cart is its impressive design. It is both lightweight and incredibly strong, striking a perfect balance between portability and durability. During its first use at our shop, I tested its capacity by lifting a 200-pound engine. To my delight, the lift cart handled this task with ease, demonstrating its robust build and reliability. In conclusion, I am thoroughly impressed with this lift cart. Very happy with this purchase. Assembly was quick and easy, and it has proven to be a very versatile and functional tool. I just wish I had gotten it earlier! There are a number of similar tools available, but I chase this because the arms, feet, and table are all fastened with a cotter pins and not bolts, making it quick and easy to partially disassemble for storage if needed. Note that the table does not go flat to the ground, so you need to tip heavy objects up and then onto the arms/table, making it a 2-person operation. The locking pin for the handle has not been necessary so far, but it is nice to have the insurance this provides. The radius of cranking wheel is small enough that it does not transfer a lot of force onto the rope. I was a bit concerned that this has a nylon rope and not a steel cable, but so far this has not been an issue. My only other issue is that the hard wheels make it difficult to pull the lift up over thresholds while it is loaded. I solved this by using a hand truck with inflated wheels to get loads over the steps and then transferred the load to the lift. (This also made tipping the load up to get it onto the table trivial.)

So far I have lifted 2 different snowblowers on and off of my pickup truck bed by myself. This thing is so GOOD. I have muscle atrophy from a disease and I am not as strong as I once was. This has been so useful and I think it will continue to be an essential tool for me and the family. The build quality is great. The assembly is easy and the instructions are very clear. It is heavy at about 90lbs ? but I have been able to lift it in into the truck bed by sliding it up and in using a tarp or a piece of heavy cardboard to protect the truck tailgate. Highly recommend

Having such a big dolly with forks I was nervous it would take up too much space, but it is actually compact. I keep my generator on there so I can move it around the warehouse. Occasionally when I need it, I’ll move pallets and it works great! It rolls pretty good on uneven surfaces but not with too much weight so I’d put it in a smooth surface for the best use. It was easy to assemble, 2 person assembly.

I do handyman work and initially bought this for jobs that normally need a second hand for lifting stacked dryers off of washing machines. While I had it in my shop I found myself using it all the time for lifting wood and pellet stoves, big espresso machines, and other big units while working on them. It is pretty stable, even with 300lbs lifted at max height on a good level floor. It is kind of a pain in the butt to transport, as it’s heavy, and pretty much has to be broken down into its smaller components to be able to easily handle up and down stairs. However, they fact that they designed it to break into smaller pieces, is a really nice design consideration. Two major design flaws I see with it: 1. The swivel castors would be more useful at the back of the unit for maneuverability’s sake, although this would lead to other clearance issues in the design 2. The spring loaded locking pin to lock the raiding platform in place is too anemic to do its job. This pin is necessary to lock the platform when transporting the parts of the lift, to mitigate the lift from sliding over your fingers and shearing them off. Even with the pin engaged, the platform is just too much mass for the pin to secure. Also, If it accidentally engages while you are trying to raise the platform with the crank, it easily bends and gets destroyed, resulting if necessary removal of this safety feature. Other than issue # 2 (#1 is somewhat insurmountable), this is a fantastic unit, especially if you value the health of your back for lifting.

Tutto perfetto come da descrizione; imballaggio super accurato, manuale istruzioni montaggio completo… serve qualche attrezzo per assemblarlo (chiave 13;16;18) brugola compresa nel kit viti… unica nota stonata ci vuole molto tempo dall’ordine per la consegna… atteso quasi 2 mesi… comunque consigliato.

Bin selbständig mit einer weiteren Person und das Teil hat unsere Arbeit sehr entlastet Sehr entlastend für eigenständige Arbeiten, und alleiniges Arbeiten. Bis zu 103 cm kommt man easy hoch mit dem Teil. Habe es bis jetzt benutzt um Bütten voller Bauschutt, und vollbeladene Metallschränke einzuladen und zu transportieren. Fordere Beine mit Lenkrollen ausgestattet. Kann kann das Teil aber auch als Sackkarre verwenden. Ich selbst habe das Teil etwas nachbearbeitet, damit ich 60 cm breite schränke aufladen kann. Dafür müsst ihr nur zwei neue Löcher bohren.

This item is very high quality - every bit of the manufacture appears to be well made including the packaging I have to trust the rope part of the hoist much like i have to trust a cambelt on a car . All the instructions were easy to understand plus the lift is easy to dissassemble for storage. I can only hope when it comes to spares they will be available . Full marks for design and manufacture makes my life easier . The delivery guys were great

Very impressed with the quality and functionality of this product. It is remarkably sturdy and assembly was quick. We use it to lift heavy coffee machines onto service benches and into vehicles. Winch operation ratchets in the UP direction and releases smoothly in the DOWN direction. There is a handle locking feature as well as a lift locking feature for transport. The foot brake is extremely effective, providing a strong anchor for loading and unloading the lift. The lift is slightly heavier and bigger than I would have liked but it's quite capable and it would be hard to get the same functionality in a smaller package, so it's an acceptable trade off. Ideal fit for a small van but it might be a tighter fit for a small car or SUV delivery vehicle.
