Leather Shoe Cream Polish & Conditioner, Kaps 50ml

Good colour match. Easy,smooth to apply and worked effectively to refresh my leather summer shoes. Rubbed up nicely to leave a lovely finish. Has effectively prolonged the life of this footwear by freshening up and covering the odd scuff. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I used this alongside a basic brush set on some tired-looking leather shoes and I’m genuinely impressed with the difference. The cream is easy to apply, not too runny, and a little goes a long way. It absorbs nicely into the leather instead of just sitting on top, and once buffed, it gives a healthy sheen rather than that overly shiny “plastic” look. My shoes looked nourished again — softer, richer in colour, and less dry around the creases. It also doesn’t have an overpowering smell, which I appreciate when you’re using it indoors. If you’ve got leather shoes, boots, or even bags that are looking a bit dull, this is a simple, affordable way to keep them looking looked-after.

These worked perfectly on my dr martens. They had big deep scratches in and this covered them without losing the style of the shoes. It did take me a couple of attempts to find the right brown but it was worth it! Couldn’t recommend more. Will be buying more colours.

I found this product while looking for a solution because the blue summer shoes I wear often had faded over time. I’m leaving this review and photos for anyone like me who feels disappointed and unsure what to do when their favorite shoes start to lose their color. I returned the first one I bought because the color was too bright blue, and reordered—this shade is perfect! The first photo shows the condition before applying the cream. When I dusted them off and applied the cream with a cloth like polishing shoes, the faded areas became much darker and cleaner. I was worried that if I applied it incorrectly it might stain and not come off, but that didn’t happen at all, which I actually liked. It’s best to think of it as polishing black shoes with shoe polish. You can just apply it with a cloth whenever needed, so it’s easy and convenient. Since I use Amazon Prime, I bought it for £7.49 with no delivery fee. I’m very satisfied.

Excellent product. Got my white summer sandals nice and white again, and got all the scuff marks off.

I thought I'd try this instead of my usual old school cream & shine(cheaper as well) when I don't have time to use normal polish. The jar is tiny. I have a lot of leather boots and I don't think it would do many. I used a fair amount on one pair, using less on one but it did need another go in parts for a proper shine. It doesn't work any different to other creams I've used and it's not great value for money.

Da unser Junior nach zwei Wintern nun endgültig aus seinen Winterstiefeln herausgewachsen ist, stand das Thema Einlagerung für den nächsten Abkömmling an. Wer Kinder im Alter von fünf Jahren hat, kann sich vorstellen, wie die Stiefel aussahen: Das Leder war vom ständigen Kontakt mit Sand, Schlamm und Pfützen sichtlich mitgenommen. Normalerweise nutze ich bei der Schuhpflege Produkte von Burgol. Aber man muss realistisch bleiben: Bevor die Stiefel vom nächsten Kind wieder erbarmungslos durch den Matsch getrieben werden, wollte ich ungern 30€ für Pomade und Wachs in einer exotischen Farbe ausgeben. Ich suchte also eine pragmatische Lösung, die gut deckt, aber das Budget schont. Die Wahl fiel dann eher spontan auf die Schuhcreme von Kaps. Die Lieferung ging fix, und ich habe mir für die Rettungsaktion etwas Zeit genommen: Zuerst wurden die Stiefel gründlich gebürstet und mit Sattelseife gewaschen. Nach dem Trocknen gab es eine Runde Conditioner. Zur reinen Pflegewirkung der Kaps-Creme kann ich daher schwer ein isoliertes Urteil abgeben, da ich die Basisversorgung lieber dem Conditioner überlassen habe. Ich habe zwei dünne Schichten aufgetragen und zum Schluss Nähte und Leder noch mit einem Lederfett versiegelt. Das Ergebnis hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht. Die Deckkraft ist für diese Preisklasse ausgezeichnet. Die abgestoßenen Stellen sind farblich sehr gut angeglichen und die Stiefel sehen tatsächlich fast aus wie neu. Ein Detail am Rande: Da ich Schuhcreme meist mit der bloßen Hand auftrage, merkt man haptisch durchaus den Unterschied zur Premiumklasse. Die Kaps fühlt sich nicht ganz so reichhaltig an wie die Pendants von Saphir oder Burgol und natürlich ist da auch die Deckkraft eine bessere. Das ist angesichts des günstigen Preises aber völlig in Ordnung und verzeihlich. Hand aufs Herz: Meine Church’s würde ich weiterhin mit meinen gewohnten Produkten pflegen. Aber für den Daily Beater oder eben das Aufmöbeln von stark beanspruchten Kinderschuhen ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier unschlagbar. Also, wer eine günstige Creme mit ordentlich Pigmentierung für den Alltagseinsatz sucht, macht hier nichts falsch.

Utilisé pour raviver l'éclat et la couleur d'un sac à main en cuir bordeaux. Résultat bluffant et absolument parfait. La crème est souple, facile à étaler, bien pénétrante dans le cuir qui reprend rapidement sa couleur et sa souplesse d'origine.

I was glad I'd read comments which suggests this product requires care when opened. I didn't find it too sloppy but then I live in a cool climate. The product is fabulous, worked well on tan boots as well as all my brown belts. It did darken slightly a light brown belt. "Sand" is a curious name for what is basically a mid-brown. The container is great too, with a screw lid it should remain useable for years, unlike those boot polish tins you press to pop (they don't) of with the small wings. This product should also last a long time as minimal amounts are required to get a good finish. The only downside with this product is that it seems to be on the way out: few places sell it and Amazon has only a half dozen colours when the page clearly states "70 colours". Grab some while you can, it really is a great product at a modest price.

Très bon produit. Il a sauvé ma paire de chaussures préférées. Je suis très agréablement surprise par le résultat. Les coups dans la couleur de mes chaussures ont disparus.
