– I liked it at first, but over time my opinion changed
At the beginning, I really liked this rod. It felt light, comfortable, and honestly better than I expected for the price.But after using it more, I started noticing small things that add up. Casting is not always straight, control is not very consistent, and sometimes the rod just doesn’t feel right.After trying other rods in the same price range, I realized this one is just okay. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either.The Goture Xceed is very good for getting started in fishing, but once you gain experience and try other rods, that’s when you really start to notice the difference.

Only used it for a few days. Caught a few decent snook.
I have the 8 foot version. 4 sections. Rod seems really solid. Case is larger then I would like. Had to take my larger suitcase, so I could take the case. Without the case, it will barely fit into the medium suitcase.

Snapped in half on a cast!
I used this rod for about 3 months. All seemed good with it until it snapped in half during a cast, for no apparent reason. This rod is a piece of trash in my opinion. Do not buy.
