The climate of these islands is too damp for air-drying hams and chorizo in the usual way, so other methods of making sausages have traditionally been used. Sobrasada is a soft-textured chorizo made with pork, tomatoes and spices, mainly paprika. Can you please send me good product too!
One sausage ok, the other moldy. Looking further into matters via interweb, I learn that cured sausages can often attract mold, and recommendation is to use vinegar to remove it, which I did, and hung the sausage overnight to see what would happen to it. Next day, sausage is sweating like a yono. I did try the other, non-green and black sausage for taste, and was very disappointed. Very lacking in flavour, with a real "meh" quality of meat and little kick from either salt or paprika. Might be salvageable if you add your own seasonings, but I shouldnt have to do that.

Far from what was expected.
I have heard that this product is like a spreadable chorizo. So i was happy when found out i can order it on Amazon. Unfortunately it is a mayor disappointment. When it arrived the smell was like vinegar and unfortunately the taste is like vinegar also. I am not 100% sure if it is the taste what should be or it has become bad under the transport. There was two cooling gel in the pack but both was already hot so that is why i don`t know. Anyhow based on my experience i would not recommend this to anyone.

A real flavour explosion, unlike anything else
This is incredible stuff wonderful depth of flavourAmazing spread on warm toast or mixed into scrambled eggs,and so many other other usesSuperb quality a real taste of SpainBest if taken out of the fridge 10 minutes or so before using,it spreads more easily

Brought back memories of Mallorca.
Memories of Mallorca with this sombrasada. Spreads on toast, or crusty rolls. Tastes good! Couldn’t get to Mallorca this year so brought a little back to the UK!

Delicious!
I struggle to get sobrasada in the UK and decided to order from Spain. It arrived in a box with cool blocks & was still cold when it arrived. I have enjoyed many portions & it was pride of place in my tapas day for friends. Definitely recommend and very good price too.

Perfect! After coming home from Majorca where I developed a liking to sobrassada I couldn’t find it anywhere over here- happy to say it tasted exactly like it does over there, will keep buying more 😊

The taste of Mallorca
Ah the taste of a sunny lunch in the sun. Great added to cooking. Scrambled eggs or omelettes are fab. But just on toast is nice.
