This weighted blanket is cute, durable, the material is soft, and can stand up to washing. I have a larger top loading washing machine that can safely wash most king size items. The blanket will get extremely heavy when wet, should not be spun to dry even a little, and has to hang dry which may take a couple of days for it to dry thoroughly. I have gotten used to the weight of it so it doesn’t feel as heavy to me now. I sleep very soundly under this blanket. It does make me warmer at times if I use it with another regular blanket on top. It is just right if I use it alone. I do wish this was a little wider because it always feels like I am right at the edge of it. Very happy with it.

**EditedI** I got the darker grey 48 x 72, 12 pound weighted blanket. I originally got the 15 pound, but it was just a bit too heavy for me, so went down to the 12 pound. I believe it’s supposed to be a full size. I have a queen mattress and was not looking for this to be a comforter, or blanket to cover the whole bed! I just wanted a reasonably priced weighted blanket to use when I feel anxious. Weighted blankets are great for alleviating anxiety for adults and children if you are lucky enough to be at home when anxiety hits! It has helped me so much when at home! I mostly use it at night when It’s time for winding down for bed, or early morning if I’m anxious before starting the day. It has been perfect. The texture is soft and comforting. It’s not too thick and doesn’t make me too warm when using it, but again, I don’t layer it with my comforter or other blankets for warmth and don’t sleep with it on me all night like my usual comforter/bedding. I specifically use it for the weight (12 pounds) to calm my nervous system. If you are an adult getting this for the same reason I did, I would start with the 12 or 15 pound, and see if it’s enough weight for you, if it’s not enough weight then try the heavier weighted blankets! For me personally, if a weighted blanket is too heavy it feels suffocating, so I don’t like it too heavy! If you weigh more, than you might need a heavier blanket, just look at what the suggestions are for people at different weights! Obviously children would need lighter than the 12 pounds I bought! Also for children, I would consult with an occupational therapist/medical professional who is an expert on this topic! There is also a lot of research/info online that can help with what weight to get for all different sizes of children and adults. Hope this helps someone! Btw I got this for a great price in this specific color (some of the other colors were significantly more $), and I feel like just in the short time I’ve had it I’ve already gotten my money’s worth! **Edit-10/28/25-Still loving it and using it regularly! I did get a weighted blanket cover/duvet that ties to all the loops around the blanket (the loops on blanket and ties on duvet keep weighted blanket secure inside of the duvet without a lot of shifting) so that I can easily wash-I wouldn’t put the actual weighted blanket in the washing machine so the reasonably priced, soft duvet cover is perfect! As a kid I recall sleeping under heavy weight futon, that essentially kept me from rolling around, though as I needed to get out from under periodically, this good idea of a comforter long in coming, is a purchase that has proven a good choice for me. I got the Full/Queen size which is the right size to allow for hang over on the sides, again at least for me, the keep the warmth in and the covers from sliding off. Now, that said, I shake the edges off the comforter so the beads move as much back to the center to maintain ideal spread. While not under the covers I pull up the hanging sides to keep the beads from moving through each section panel. Right now is the perfect time to experience the body warmth reflected back onto me while under the covers, I'll have to see how this works in the warmer months. I recommend a duvet, which I haven't gotten yet, as there appears to have been oil/grease on the comforter when I removed it from packaging and do not want additional staining. I've noticed that once back under covers, I do fall back asleep quicker than before, like finding the comforting place. Now as a 65-yr old male who sleeps alone, I got the 20-lb comforter, and it is heavy. I think most individuals would do well with the 15-lb, however, when sharing this a heavier weight could be ok. One has to be mindful of movement under the weighted cover and how manageable or the difficulty of it could be to get out from under quickly in case of late-night bathroom consideration or god forbid, an emergency with in your home. These are aspects worthy of consideration. I've had mine since late NOV 2018 and it took me 2-wks to know how I need to move around under the cover and what's my best method of exit from under. Again most should not have an issue, but rather than freak-out once you get it and had not considered it, please consider this prior to purchase. I can say this candidly, if I had to, I'd buy another one for myself, it cheaper than the down comforters, for me though again, I'll have to see how the glass beads handle my body heat in the warmer months, it may be about switching it out for the lighter down comforter which is now sitting in the closet - alone, till called on. Hope this review gives anyone considering this purchase some feedback to help you off the fence if you're likely to go for a comforter that provides the kind of comfort it does to encourage faster, perhaps a deeper sleep, but an ease of sleep once you return from a journey out from under the cover.

Purchased for my 7 year old grandchild. He loves it. It's high quality with solid stitching. It has been washed a couple times and is still like new.

Love this blanket. My 9yo has difficulty falling asleep due to her ADHD. We tried many things like sleepytime tea, Melatonin, and even magnesium. Nothing worked. With the weight of this blanket she falls asleep within 15mins, it's amazing. I bought another one for my 5yo who likes to wake up at 2am and join us in our bed. Now he sleeps through the night until 7am, best purchase I've made. P.s. we've used the blankets for about 2 weeks now with the same positive result

this product is not as advertised. It is not a weighted blacnket, nor is it a cover for a weighted blanket. it is a slim blanket out of poly fabric with no beads internally as advertised.

25 pound blanket is excellent for 2 people .but be careful when making the bed.lololol it is heavy 😆😆😆😆 bought as a bday gift for wife. She loves it. Case closed lol😉
