Works well. Only drawback is that it would be too heavy for a person not strong enough to handle it

The trimmer works well. The adjustable pole length and adjustable cutter blade angle facilitates work without having to climb a ladder. The unit is very end heavy on the trimmer end because the electric motor is at the end of the pole. The weight and maneuverability is adversely affected when you lengthen the pole. The carrying harness to clip the unit into to help support the weight seems impossible to configure in a way that actually supports the weight. Bottom line: the unit cuts well but is very cutter end heavy. As I only do this kind of work "once" a year for my own yard, I'm OK with it, especially for the price. If I had to use a pole hedge trimmer often, I would probably spring for the additional money to get a battery operated or even a gas one just to have the additional weight on the handle end to help balance.

This is a good tool. Weighs less than battery powered, easy to use, and cuts well.

it is a beast to use due to heavy weigh. storage is an issue as for me, for homeowners. The support strap is cumbersome, and the butt rest of the handle does not fit the power control section of the wand. But I must say the power and cutting head are a beast and will cut the advertise 3/4-inch limbs with great ease and vigor. I have a 12-foot-tall hedge and it does wonderous. If and I say If there had been a video of some one using the trimmer at its full length, I might have chosen a different model. Bu with practice I will figure out a better selection of strap and butt rest to make it less taxing when cutting especially at the height I am trying to control. If you need reach and power, choose this model.

It worked just great. I had to trim two 15 ft pine trees. I did have to use a ladder but was able to extend the trimmer to the desired length and cut all the lengths of the trees. It did a super job. It is front heavy but I was able to handle it. I recommend it

I must say I was impressed with the way it cut. Little top heavy I did not feel it necessary to use sling. Cuts extremely well cuts clean. Very happy with it. Hopefully last one I need to buy. I probably should have purchased the trimmer with optional pole. Non the less great product.

The part Rotating Knob (6 position head) is so weak and very fragile. At the first time use, I wanted to change the angle and dropped the blade to ground. The head part, blade and motor, is heavy and easily dropped. Then the Rotating Knob were broken. Can I return it or get a replacement ??

Got tired of getting on the ladder and trimming the hedges in my yard and this works great except it’s pretty heavy. So climbing up a ladder and balancing the weight seems kind of unsteady for me so I decided to not climb the letter in the backyard and lift it up to trim the trees which still the weight doesn’t balance very well. I’ve been doing my own yard for 40 years. I thought this would make it a lot easier, but it’s not very lightweight as I thought it does the job, but it’s just my sessions of cutting Três and hedges has to be done in short spurts cause my arms and shoulders get tired from balancing the weight

This is a powerful machine and is capable of cutting at high rate. Due to the weight it can be hard going, you need strong arms to hold it upright. The strap supports are not very good.

Cuts great, lite weight and extends easily for hard to reach areas.

I had tall hadges over 8 feet high and very wide (thick) at the backyard and cannot not be trim with a trimmer with a regular step ladder. Even getting a higher ladder may not help as the regular trimmer cannot reach the centre area of the hadge. With this unit I was able to complete the job. However, this unit is heavy and with the motor at the back of the trimmer up on top of the extension, the unit is unbalance. It is great that I can extend the unit quite high, but it is very difficult to hold on to the unit. I can only work 10 minutes maximum and a long rest is rewuired afterward. I could imagine that a battery operating unit is better balanced but it would double the cost. For a job once every two years, I can live with this unit for the price. Some one may see a unit by the same manufacturer in Youtube that the trimmer can be removed and attach to the trigger handle directly without the extension, please note that this unit does not have that function.

This is great for reaching the top of my hedge and trees I do find it’s a bit top heavy when at full length. It’s a lot stronger than a battery powered one though .

Made the job so much easier I'm glad I bought it.
