I love this dehumidifier! It works like a beast! I chose to use with an external condensation pump for drainage for my large basement. The water continuously drains out on the intelligent mode. The setup was simple and large wheels make it very portable. The mold is gone. My basement is 1600 sq ft. and it was dry in a the first two days. I had to reach out to customer service for a code and boy did they come through! Prompt and courteous service! I’m up and running now. Highly recommend!

This dehumidifier was easy to set up and eliminated my humidity issues very quickly. When I had an issue with the unit the support team responded quickly and provided an acceptable solution.

Came broken. It would turn on, but never worked. Which was a pretty big deal since I had just cleared out inches of water that were sitting in my basement from some torrential rain that we got. I needed a dehumidifier as soon as possible to get the moisture out of the basement and so I made sure to order a very powerful commercial dehumidifier to dry out the basement. So I was stuck having to order a different model and wait longer for it. Which might have caused mold issues due to this humidifier not working. I would never trust Waykar after this incident.

It has worked great the past year I've owned it. Had an issue recently but Waykar customer service was prompt in providing a resolution.

Back in January of this year I bought one of these dehumidifiers for use in my basement. I've already gone through 3 or 4 other dehumidifiers that weren't commercial grade. I decided to bite the bullet and spend the extra money for a more heavy duty dehumidifier. For the first 5 months all went well. It was doing a great job as I expected it to. That was over the winter. When the weather got warmer in May - June it started displaying things that didn't seem right. It wouldn't get the humidity down to where I wanted it to be. It was running constantly and there was a frozen strip of ice at the bottom of the cooling coils that wouldn't go away and the unit only removed about a quart of water every two days. I didn't believe that it was functioning properly.I contacted customer service through the Waykar web site and dealt with someone on the other end of the line. They gave me several maneuvers to try and correct the problem. I tried them but they didn't work. After going back and forth through emails for a couple of days without any improvement in the dehumidifier they offered me some options to make good on the situation. I chose one of the options that suited me best and the company sent me a brand new unit.The new one is functioning just as well as I expected the first one too. Now the reservoir is full in about 12 hours and the humidity is exactly at the percentage I've set it to be. The person I dealt with was very polite and seemed very interested in satisfying me and my problem. All things considered I am very satisfied with the way this company handled this incident. So, for now, so far so good. I'll let you know if anything changes.

We purchased this for a large basement which is very humid during the summer months. We found it to be an effective replacement to us running two less efficient dehumidifiers simultaneously. The customer service team was very responsive after we submitted questions via email.

I first bought 2 smaller units from a different brand and realized I needed something more commercial that can pull in more air since we have mold. I stumbled upon the waykar 155 pint, and even though they are pricey, they’re A LOT cheaper than other expensive brands I was looking at so I thought I’d try it out and was surprised at how fast it worked. We got one for our basement and attached drain hose into our sump and one for the ground level that needs to be emptied once a day. The basement was at 60% RH and it got it down to 40% in a hour or two. Took a bit longer to get to 35% but is now there and staying stable. The ground level one pulls so much water it’s dehumidifying the whole house and staying stable at what it was set to, 40%. It’s a little noisy because it moves so much air but it’s not horrible and for all the work it’s doing I don’t mind. Highly recommend.

This product is fantastic. Our basement got flooded so I needed an immediate solution. I purchased the Waykar DP603b via Amazon, I received it a few days later and wow! In a few days, combined with a few fans, the humidity was back to normal. I would have needed 3 or 4 normal residential dehumidifyers to get close to this unit. Furthermore, I got in touch with their support departmet for some tune up and I received amazing afyter sales service. I truly recommend this unit.

This humidifier is a beast. In our first year, this dehumidifier kept up beautifully. In fact, we even connected the hose to the drain in our basement to make the work much easier. This year, about 14 months after purchase, we found it wasn't working. We contacted Customer Service, and they walked us through some troubleshooting tips. When it was determined that the machine was faulty, they replaced it. Service has been great, and they stand behind their equipment.

After 18 months of use the unit doesn’t dehumidify. It runs with no errors but doesn’t remove any moisture. This unit wasn’t cheap so it should have lasted much longer.
