ACEBEAM Flashlight is a keeper!
This is a great product. The light is so bright, yet the flashlight is so small and convenient to carry everyday. I used mine twice, loaned it to my wife and now it is gone. So, going to have to buy this great product again. The flashlight is rechargeable and the charge lasts. The accessories work good and definitely help in everyday use. I got this to keep in my every carry computer backpack for when I need the use of a flashlight. This flashlight is very easy to use.

Wide beam short range light
You can see in the second picture I took the main beam is large or wide. It is bright and works perfect for indoors. Which is why it's at my gaming desk. When you drop something this is the correct tool for the job. The battery lasts quite a long time. I use it every day and it lasts at least a week before it needs to be charged. You have to remove the battery to charge it with a USB-C cord. It takes about an hour to get a full charge in the included lithium cell. This light claims 1000 lumens. It's close to that. I have a larger work flashlight with a higher capacity battery cell that produces 1000 lumens and outside it has a lot more range, it's a little brighter and more focused( smaller main beam). The main beam is smaller so it goes farther and looks whiter. It depends on what you want. A longer bulkier light is not good for my desk. I like to stand it up so I can find it when I drop something or need it. The size is made to clip in a shirt pocket also. No it's not as bright as a 2 cell light but it's way easier and lighter to carry. Honestly it's my favorite size. I also like having the button on the end instead of the side. It's easier to use. I have a lot of new led lights that I have bought this year. This one is my favorite so far. It's just right size. The light has 3 brightness modes. 1.Low for I have no idea what, it's not bright enough to even use imo. 2. Medium for up close work. 3 Max bright, this will get hot after about a min. This is NORMAL. A lot of power creates a lot of heat. All my good LED lights get hot on the high setting. Thus light has a different way to switch modes than any other light I have so it takes some getting used to. After you turn them on some led lights will let you tap the button to change the brightness. This one requires you to turn it on and off quickly to change modes. You get used to it but it's kind of clunky at first. If you just turn it on and use it then turn it off it will stay on the current brightness mode. If you want a well built compact light for indoors that you can carry in your pocket with ease this is your light. This light has waterproofing and is built to take outdoor use but it's not really what it is best at. Tons of light from a tiny frame. Good choice and I recommend this product.

Pretty good flashlight, good value overall, 3.5 stars
BLUF: Nice little pocket light, I paid $17 and feel like it's a good value It's about the size of my index/middle fingers, slightly longer, can work as a pocket clip carry opposite side from pocketknife. Seems durable, and double clip seems strong, holds well and light rides low in pocket. It has a couple spots with different types of knurling, but they seem more for looks than function as none of them did much to help with grip, feels kind of smooth and if wet or using gloves it might get clumsy to hold. But OTOH easy to get out of a pocket quickly. Beyond clip it has no extra anti-roll feature, and it cannot tail-stand. Good for EDC or to stow in a bag where space is at a premium. Includes a wrist strap that can attach to the clip. Beam is bright on high, gets warm fairly quickly. It claims 550 lumens and output seems to match up to other lights I have in that range. It does have multiple light output modes, but is tricky to switch between them and use the memory feature. Not impossible, just was a little hard for me. Low is essentially a Moon mode. Haven't tested water resistance, but it does come with a couple extra O rings, so assume it will do well. Battery is USB-C rechargeable Acebeam branded, 920mAH Li-ion, 3.7v, 3.4Wh, ARC14500/AA. Charged up fairly quick, but haven't done a battery run-down test yet. Exact replacement battery available at Battery Junction for $8.90. Similar batteries are available for similar price. Confirmed it works with regular AA, which was a must-have for me. Comes with a 4-inch USB/USB-C charge cord. Overall 4/5 stars, 8.5/10, A-/B+. I bought two, I'm going to keep them both. If you want to spend a few dollars more for additional features, Sofirn SP10/SP10Pro are options for same EDC size (slightly thicker?). If you want a larger tactical size, 1800/2000 lumen range, Sofirn is the only real game in town in terms of bang for the buck, Acebeam doesn't compete there at all. But all things considered I would recommend this light. UPDATE: Used it for a bit longer, and still impressed with light output, size and simplicity of it, just wish it would be a deeper pocket carry clip, and the switch were more protected from accidental turn-on. I've only accidentally had it turn on once and use up the battery, but once was enough. Didn't mention it before, but while it works with regular AA battery, it's not very bright with it. Included lion battery makes it brightest. UPDATE 2: The pocket clip I've come to live with, no issues there, but still have occasional accidental turn-on situations where battery ran out and I never knew it. If they fix this issue with a better protected button, I would give it 5 stars for the price. UPDATE 3: I still like it, but the pocket clip bends too easily. I had to toss the clip as it wouldn't hold it's shape. Bending metal too many times can weaken it, which is probably the case, but it still wasn't strong enough to keep it's shape in the first place. I've had to top off the battery more frequently lately.

Great little flashlight
Great little flash light. I got one then everybody at my work got one. Great size to put in pocket and forget about it till you need it. Incredibly bright for its size. 3 settings for whatever you need and battery is rechargeable. What more can you ask for?

It's a great light: perfect EDC size, good battery, high CRI and surprisingly powerful.
It's a great light: perfect EDC size, good battery, high CRI and surprisingly powerful. I've had a number of flashlights for EDC and EDC-adjacent (ie in my car, too big to carry in my pocket comfortably) over the years, and a lot of the "pocket-sized" ones have just missed the mark. Pen lights I find are too long and too skinny - they always pop out of my pocket when clipped in or they impede my leg and jab me in the thigh when moving around, while other lights were even bigger and more of a pain. I've had issues with buttons being pressed in while in my pockets, leading to burning legs from battery heat and unusable lights. And still others were ultra tiny (ie something like the Beta keychain), but i've found those sizes are too small to really have meaningful battery life, and recharging them or something about their mechanism eventually breaks down and the light becomes a paperweight. The Acebeam Pokelit is a perfect middle ground. It's not as long as a pen light, but it's got more circumference so it's much more comfortable to hold. Has a 2-way pocket clip, so you can stow it at the top of your pocket and also use it clipped onto a hat. It's lightweight, so when you do use it on your hat, not only do you not notice the weight but it will also stay put much better (compared to something like the Thrunite T2 especially, which is at least 3x heavier). I often carry it loose in my pocket and it settles nicely in the bottom without snagging or causing extra bulk. Comes with a high-quality rechargeable cell (AA size equivalent too, so AA replacements will work in a pinch!) that delivers quite a bit of power, and there is no external charging port (port is on the battery itself), so there's no extra battery cover that can fall off and making your flashlight vulnerable to water ingress. The button is proud, but has a long throw and a soft actuation point before fully engaging. This means it's very unlikely to be accidentally engaged (ie in your pocket or in a backpack), and it's easy to use - don't have to dig your thumb in there to turn this on. Because it has the actuation point before the button clicks, it's easy to have the flashlight on only when you need it, say for just a second or two. Has low/med/high brightness which can be toggled by switching it on/off in succession. The middle has a slightly hotter spotlight, and it's pretty comparable to some of my other bigger flashlights. Works well lighting up the trees or distant objects in the night. High CRI is a big deal too, though the temperature seems a little cooler than my thrunite, which is a little surprising since that is a lower CRI light. Not bad, just catches me by surprise sometimes. Overall, highly recommend this light. Can be annoying having to pull the battery out to charge it, but i'll take that over finnicky USB charging ports that may or may not compromise the water resistance of the light. It's a perfect size, high cri light that works perfectly for everyday needs. Picture shows the size comparison of some of my various lights: SOG M113, ThruNite T2, some rando lights from work, a Lumintop IYP365, the Acebeam Pokelit, Beta QR and some random keychain light

I love this flashlight so much that when we lost our first we got it again! It's super bright for potty runs with the dog in the dark. It's lightweight and small so I can hold it with my mouth when picking up dog poop. It's easy to change the brightness (though we always keep it bright). The battery is easy to take in and out for charging. It's sturdy and high quality. No complaints!

An amazing flashlight & great sellers
Edit: The seller reached out after seeing my review & acknowledged that this was a strange problem. They sent me a replacement that has worked perfectly since I've gotten it. I forgot how useful it was in the few months I was using a different one. The double sided clip is so useful & grips so much tighter than the other flashlights I had gotten to replace this one. I've also noticed that it's a lot harder to accidentally switch on this flashlight. Purchased in Aug of 2024. The pros: It lasted me pretty well, about 8 weeks or so of use for a few hours a day at most. The L-ion battery lasts pretty well for a battery of its size. The flashlight definitely lasts a lot longer with a disposable AA but it's also noticeably dimmer. It's not an issue for my needs, but just something to keep in mind. The double sided clip is great, I could clip it on my belt to hold & on the brim of my hat to use like a headlamp. The clip never wore out despite constant use. It was almost a little too strong at points, making it hard to get on/off, but it also survived several attempts to knock it off of my hat. It's also incredibly small. Maybe the length of my pointer finger, a bit wider, and super portable. The packaging came with additional o-seals to replace when the old ones began to deteriorate. I never used it in damp conditions so I have no clue how waterproof it is, but that was a really nice bonus. The cons: After two months of relatively delicate use, the flashlight began to flicker & would default to the lowest setting after a few seconds of changing it to a higher setting. The lowest setting is so dim it's barely noticeable if it's anything but pitch black. I'm actually tempted to repurchase just in case I got a dud. The flashlight was genuinely that good while it lasted. However, I need a flashlight that is gonna last me longer than a couple of months.

Great flashlight
So far my initial reaction is that I found a new EDC light. The size is perfect for my back pocket next to my wallet and the belt clip so far is very strong. My big needs in a light are a momentary tail switch, rechargeable via USB-C, minimal modes and last use setting memory. I'm still getting used to this light but it checks all of those boxes. Some people have noted a discrepancy on the momentary tail switch, the one at least that I received does do a momentary on/off. Only having three modes is fantastic. I hate having to cycle through modes or go through some weird button clicking process. I just want the thing to turn on and turn off and that's it. I love that it's a double a size battery so that if my rechargeable ever goes out I can use an easy to access AA to get me by. I love that the battery itself is got the rechargeable input on it. That helps maintain some of the water and weather resistance to the flashlight since you're not having to open a little rubber seal to plug it in. As far as brightness I do not have a way to measure the output but it does a great job in lighting up our basketball gym at church when all the lights are out. It's beam is not quite as focused as another light that I have but it's a consistent brightness across the spot of light which is great. So far in my use my understanding is that it retains the last setting that you used, so when I use the momentary function on the tail cap it always goes back to the brightest setting for me. Now if you quickly turn it on and back off using the tail switch it will cycle through the modes, but if you let it go off for 4 or 5 seconds and then turn it back on it will still use the last mode. When using it the other day for 30 to 40 seconds it did seem to be a little bit warm, but I don't have a lot of experience with it yet to truly gauge its heat buildup. I'll try to post more down the road as I have more experience with the light but so far I'm extremely happy with it, especially at the price!
