It works really well but it is super tiny. When it said it made 6 cups I was expecting it to make 6 cups. It makes 1 1/2 if you are lucky. It does a great job of brewing and the coffee is amazing and it does not take very long to make a cup of coffee but when I have to go back and constantly be brewing, another pot, another pot or I should say cup it’s a little bit irritating. And it does not keep the coffee hot after it is done cooking but I guess it’s good. It only makes one and a half cups at a time .

It works ok, top lip is sharp. Caution needed when screwing shut or open, I will keep it and blunt the edge with a file.

Haven't used this much but so far pleased with this item. It doesn't seem to make a real true espresso (it's more like really strong coffee), but I think I need to experiment with different grinds and beans -- perhaps I can improve the brew. I've tried an espresso blend/grind and the brew came out muddy but not really that strong. It's much faster if you use very hot/boiling water before placing the pot on the burner (took only about 2 minutes), but that may be affecting the strength. Next time, I'll try using warm water and letting it brew a little longer on the stove to see if that makes it more like true espresso. This is easy to clean when necessary, I just take it apart and place it in the top rack of my dishwasher and it cleans up just fine.

You can’t beat the price for this stainless steel stovetop coffee maker! I’d have given it five stars, but the gasket doesn’t fit properly and falls out (and the screen follows it) every single time it’s used. It looks to me like the gasket is too thick for the space it’s designed to fill. This has created leakage (read: burnt coffee) while it’s in use. And to even screw the top part on is challenging because the gasket and screen fall out as soon as the top is upright.I have several similar stovetop coffee makers and have never had this problem before with any of them.I would have returned it but it’s a hassle for me to do so and it wasn’t a huge loss. I do use it occasionally but it’s always a bit of a struggle.

I had an old coffee maker, just like this one, for about 10 years. Camped with it, then used it at home to make a strong, good cup of coffee. One too many times I forgot it on the stove, so it started to burn a bit in the bottom part. I figured it would be good to replace it. This one appears to be stainless steel but somehow feels lighter and made of cheaper material. Fine, whatever. The part I don't like is that the rubber seal that is supposed to hold the metal filter in place does not do that. So the moment you try to screw the top part onto the bottom (where the water goes) the filter falls out. If you manage to quickly do that without it falling out, it may not seal properly, because it moves around. Granted, this is not an expensive item but my old one was even cheaper and served well all these years. Sending this one back would probably cost me more so I will likely, after I am frustrated enough with it, donate it to a second hand store and look around for something else.
