I wanted to wait and review the bottle opener after some time had passed, it’s been almost two years and no rust is showing! The bottle opener works great and is thick stainless steel. Well worth the price in my opinion.

It is a bottle opener. I just can't get excited, but I am almost fully satisfied.I added a small magnet (attached with silicon below) to catch the falling bottle cap.

I had a cast iron bottle opener attached to my dock that rusted out after only a couple of years. This stainless steel opener looks great and opens bottles nicely just like you would expect it to.It saw a lot of action this summer, as beer seemed to be the best way to ward off politics and viruses.By the way did you know where the word politics comes from? It comes from poly, meaning many, and tick meaning blood sucking parasite.Hence, Many blood sucking parasites.

Made from, what appears to be, cast stainless steel (it's definitely stainless steel, not sure it's cast, but it looks like it is). Nicely polished. Installs easily. It's a simple, classic design that has been time proven for probably a hundred years or more. I plan to use it for an outside bar. I can't comment on it's durability because I just received it, but I can't see why it won't last a long time. A lot of the ones you see on line are cast aluminum or cast pot metal. This one should be much better. Go get one, have a bbq, and enjoy your favorite bottled beverage.

Looks good, however when I put a bottle in place, it needs to be nearly horizontal to properly engage with the opener. It is possible to be slightly out of position and it will not pry the cap off. Since I use it to open Mexican Cokes it is no problem as long as I take slowly and deliberately.After a couple cases of beer, it would be a problem. Fortunately, I am no longer in the Navy and I rarely drink beer anymore. I have been called a quitter for stopping my drinking, but that is my choice to stop.

This bottle opener is beautiful! I wanted one of these to open bottles on my boat. There are so many of then stamped out of cheap metal, but I wanted something that would work right and look great not only for the remaining life of my old cabin cruiser, but well after, and this is it! Beautiful polished stainless Steele and nice thick construction that should last 100 years or more. I put this on my boat, but I’d put it in my bar or in my kitchen, or anywhere I want a solid opener that looks like a million bucks. And it’s heavy too, so you can throw it at your buddy if he makes a crude joke! (We do not endorse throwing this thing, it could easily put a hole in the wall or someone’s head) I’ll be buying a couple more for the man cave, and everyone in my family is getting one for Christmas!

I had the two drop-shipped to my Father-in-law, brother-in-law so I haven't seen them. Package arrived fastNote: I spent hours looking at and reading reviews. Because the one he had didn't work reliably. Once I good into reviews [Schooled Myself on Oppeners] ie; This other brand wears out, or brakes twist-off bottles, this grade SS rusts outdoors or hard to align the bottle, etc. This one by far had the best reviews, seemed to be the only one Made out of Marine grade never rust 316 SS. Comments like this will last 100 yrs, nothing negative except for the price but you get what you pay for.

Item arrived just as described and well packaged. It looks awesome and will be the perfect addition to our pool hut.

I bought the bottle opener for $50 I was happy with it so I was showing a colleague via the link in the record of purchase email when I saw that the bottle opener was reduced in price by 66%. I decided to buy an additional five bottle openers to give to friends. When they arrived I realised that they were completely different to the one I had already received, much thinner stainless steel, much lighter. The five bottle openers that I bought were not my original purchase reduced by 66%, they were a different item and I think that advertising the original bottle opener as being reduced by 66% was deceitful. While the original bottle opener was expensive I bought it because it seemed robust, by comparison, the five bottle openers are light weight regardless of whether they perform well.
