A great brush, but thread is not standard
I bought this brush and quickly discovered the thread does not match any of my current cleaning kits. I bought numerous other kits and adapters (my existing kits were in need of replacing) in the hope of finding a solution and finally gave up and bought a Bisley kit which it does work with - and it is a fantastic brush!

Brilliant brush.
Before purchasing this I used the standard phosphor bronze brush but after reading good things about these brushes I took the plunge and bought one. I have to say that Iโm very impressed it gives the bores a thorough scrubbing and removes dirt and fouling with easy.

Good brush
Used in conjunction with a bore cleaner after the main clean, doesnโt compress like a normal bronze brush, tight fit in bore.

Very effective.
My barrels had a large build up of plastic and other debris which I could not remove with a normal brush. This with its many finer bristles managed to remove the crap with ease.

Nice Brush; Doesn't Fit US Rods; has 9/32-26 BSB Thread
The male thread on this brush appears to fit Parker-Hale or Bisley British shotgun rods. American shotgun rods employ 5/16-27 thread. Yeah oddball. This Bisley brush is a 9/32-26 British Standard Brass (BSB) thread. Drill a 6.1mm hole. I used a "B" drill, which is a bit smaller, but works nicely. This thread is definitely NOT a metric thread: M7x1.0 and m8x1.25 do not fit. If you can find a proper 9/32-26 BSB tap, drill a hole through an empty .357 Mag or .38 SPL primer pocket. Thread the hole. Epoxy or Gorilla Glue the empty shell to the end of a piece of 3/8" dowel.

does not fit standard threads
The brush is great quality but the threads are some off size and do not fit any STANDARD cleaning rods. I also found out this is a $6 item but it cost a lot more because it is shipped from the UK. Shipping to the US was about 3x the cost of the product. I should have bought the American made version that cost more but had free Prime shipping. It would have at least fit standard cleaning rods.
